Heading to the pointy end of the year now, what's the thoughts on who has really stood out this year. Aiming for a positive thread, so not who hasn't been at the races. Suspect it will end up a 2 or 3 horse race in reality, but always interesting to see folks reading of the games.
For me, the three guys I think who have shone are Dingle, Owen & Moyer. Possibly a wee shout to Scoon too, not really a game changer directly, but, he has taken his chance with more ice time, and does look more assured, as long as he sticks to the basics of the game.
Player of the Year - Dingle Runner Up - Owen 3rd - Moyer Most Improved - Scoon

I'm glad you highlighted Brooksy, seems to come in for a bit of stick, but I really like him.

Having not seen a game this season and not looking likely that I will see one I base my comments on the excellent updates from stirling and others and all the comments on this forum. Waterboy seems to have a good choice there. My player of the year is Owen without question. He seems to have kept the Flyers in a good league position this season. Without him I fear the Flyers would be at the bottom of the conference and league. Dingle would be my runner up.

There's only one option for player of the year surely, that's Owen. Dingle and Moyer both deserve credit as does Wandsy.
League position aside its been a frustratingly poor season with few other players deserving a mention.

Owen for sure with Dingle not far behind.
Wands for British player as he's really stepped in when needed and been rock solid.

My player of the year would be a joint effort of Dingle & Owen
Forward. Dingle Defence. Moyer Brit. Wands U/S Hero. Schaber Most Improved. Finucci Special Award Brooks (Like Dingle he turns up to give 100% and sticks up for team-mates)

Wando should be in for a minimum of 2 awards. To suggest anyone else for the Brit player is laughable and goal of the season is a cert.
He's been pretty much flawless all season so is also our most under-rated player as he gets nowhere near as many shifts as he should! He's also most improved if that's a category?

Goal of the season for me was when we had a 5 on 3 against us in the Coventry game at FIA and Phil Paquet scored.

Goal of the season for me is Bryan Cameron's top shelf in the dying seconds of the recent Nottingham game to take us to ot then a win, absolute class, nano second for him to decide what to do with it, real goalscorers touch.
