they play in the same league as Aalborg who we played a few years ago, they have a few good players scott jacklin had played along side a few former flyers and our current goalie, Kim Staal is there icon player if you like Danish international 4th round draft pick for the canadiens in 96. they are a young team but they won't be c***. they have played 4 pre season games already and won them all 10-1 , 6-5 after OT , 4-1 and 4-2 and most of their Danish players have played international hockey in some way shape or form

Yeah they will be very good, fast skating and skillful. Expect them to be faster and much fitter.
I would expect a close game on Saturday and Sunday to be them controlling the play for large parts of the night.

And here was me expecting to see a team who had one regulation win in 45 games and shipped 228 goals last season. Have they had a complete overhaul?

And here was me expecting to see a team who had one regulation win in 45 games and shipped 228 goals last season. Have they had a complete overhaul? The club has been taken over and restructured so yeah not the same as last season. They have 10 new players in this years team including 5 new imports. 3 D-men return from last years team and 6 forwards. 50% of the squad changed so yeah I would expect them to be vastly different from the team that finished at the bottom of their league. As Colorado already pointed out they haven't lost a pre season game so far 2 off those were against the Gentofte Stars who lost out in the playoff finals last season, that maybe gives you a clearer idea of what this team will be like. Top league in Denmark similar to ours or the DEL 2, the pirates who came over a few years ago with Thommo skated us off the ice on the second night on route to a 8-3 win and they were not at full strength. I expect them to give us a real test over the 2 games, second night in particular.

Schabers TOI for that period alone must be brutal. He's going to be burnt out before the seasons really got going!
