The team are doing great best we have seen in EIHL era However big concern is our run in especially February and March 27 games to play but we have a few 3 games in 3 nights Big concern is injuries and burn out Should we be looking to bring in a quality import forward as cover before the recruitment deadline? The two additional teams coming in to the league structure and not extending the season is making this tough.

Definitely. Stockton is a big liability whenever he takes a hit on the ice and I can see him having another lengthy injury. We needed an extra body before this weekend for our 2nd half of the season, We need one even more now with the prospect of SS being out injured. Hopefully it can be someone in the Sachetti mould just to add a bit of something to an already skillfull roster! Don't want a passenger and not even too fussed for someone tough as that comes with it's own problems just want someone who's not gonna wince and limp off anytime it gets a bit physical - as that's what I feel Stockton is like. The guys made of chocolate. He's a decent player but man is he a bit of a woos!

Yes we should be bringing an extra in if we have serious title ambition but this is now the acid test for the Flyers directors . If they pay for one more import as back up to give certain players recovery from small niggles etc we may well have our first decent shot in the EIHL era. I hope they decide to push for real success this season.

Think there may have been a clue in Dutes post game interview, said he is worried He should be chapping TM door tomorrow, boss that was 4 point weekend against the Clan We are 3rd in league with games in hand and top of conference and heading to Belfast Tuesday Can we get cover in? Wonder if Danny would give us Ryan Dingle back.....

From Tuesday we can sign a player on a 3 month visa that will take them to the end of the season and they won't pay tax!
Even more incentive

I agree the 3 game weekends along with the midweek games could kill us and Todd should be telling the directors exactly this. We carried a spare import for a while when Sachetti came in a few seasons back, hopefully the directors will push the boat out and give the coaches the financial backing that they deserve.

Roll the dice Mr Muir, get an extra body in, it could pay dividends on the run in. Heard the guys are flying to Belfast tuesday, that is absolutely great news, even if it's Easyjet. Maybe Tuesday night will be the decider? Win and make the semi-final, another packed out home game in Kdy, could be the difference in budget required for an extra body coming in

I don't think Todd should need to bang on TM's door. TM should be asking Todd what we need for cover if we are to have any real ambition as a club.

TM has done the extra man in the second half in the past so it should be a no brainer given the present circumstance, no doubt the extra bodies that come to the rink when the going gets good and something at stake at the end of the season will help pay the way.

Really disappointed with the comments about stocks he is a top quality third line centre who fully contributes in both zones on pp and pk he was a victim of a horrendous late hit by grunwald which should be subject of supplementary review and I really hope he is not injured was annoyed nobody even had a word in the clan players ear jus5 like nobody had a pop after the late hit on birzins hit by MacKenzie on Saturday team discipline is great and we don’t need to fight to stand up for our mates but in both games we did not stick up for victims of late hits

Zamboni U did not I thought I was posting a new thought - my incompetence so apologies
Interested in your thoughts about la k of support for stocks and no comeback for the hits on him or birzins
It was inter#sting looking at the highlights from Saturday Tommy was going to “ talk to Doty” and fight his own fight till isles tapped his pads So three times over the weekend we got bad hits and no reaction Same happened when Rosehill cross checked Stockton t9 head. No reaction
If I can see that so will the bigger teams

Would say its fairly obvious they are under instructions to not get involved, draw the penalty n get the powerplay. Would be interesting to see what % of our goals have come from special teams and their +/-.

Tommy will bide his time, that was a dunt to the head, drop the mitts with him when the head is a little clearer and we don't have so much on the line.
