Pretty sure Todd said that after the game last weekend. I take it we are allowed to air our views on the game on here? Yes you are aloud to air your views...This was MY OPINION or am I not aloud one because I moderate? The point I was trying to make is, peeps are sometimes quick to jump on and moan rather than wait till they've calmed doon first. I asked as the mods on the previous forum were keen to try and stop any negative posts. I wasn't sure if your post was your personal views or not, hence the question Surely the forums a place where people can and express their anger at peformances like last night? I know i'd certainly prefer people to do it here than at the rink during a game.

pay £15 a to watch a game and they dont like to be criticised, .. Read this then.. if your no happy, do one.. flyers were here before them and still be here long after they are gone.. I agree with you. I pay money to watch. They take wages from my money, therefor I have the right to make comments on their performance (or lack of). If it was free entry, then no complaints.

My main concern about Sunday's game was the fact that the whole team were poor, and Josh Scoon sat on the bench the entire game. Todd Dutiaume has said on a number of occasions, that if players aren't playing well, then they will sit whilst others will get a chance. That didn't happen Sunday night. Perhaps it was due to it still being a close scoreline, hoping the big players would step up. But, like I said, disappointing that the kid sat the whole game.
As disappointing as the result & performance were, it was only one game. Let's hope it's the last we see of a performance like that this season.

Tommy Muir also took two of the dumbest roughing penalties I have ever seen in my entire time watching hockey. Right in front of the ref both times he took a clear punch to an opponents head, with the puck no where near them. That was sheer stupidity on Tommy's part.
That didn't effect the outcome of the game by the way as I don't think Braehead scored on either powerplay?
Just pointing out how dumb the penalties were at the time.

Yeah but if we had any momentum, that would kill it. It gave them a breather and leaves us chasing the puck around trying to kill a penalty. Jason made it known down the bench he wasn't happy with the daft penalties folk were taking.

Makes you wonder why the coach did not bench him ?.. mmm

These were shockers, I have to say Jeff's slash after being tripped and it not getting called and then his rant at the end for the offside were not exactly smart, at least these were down to frustration rather than stupidity. Not the first time its happened either but its a very small criticism of a guy who has been fantastic for us.

I can understand Tommys frustration at the roughing call in the second period
He was cross checked from behind into the boards with Cowan looking straight at it but no call was made, even if a call was made it would have resulted in both players getting penalties because of Tommys reaction
All it would have taken was for Tommy to look at the ref to see that no call was being made and not to react but I would hope that Tommy would think he was going to get some protection from the ref for being cross checked from behind
