1-1 at end of second period, Finucci with the tying goal.
We've been on the ropes for most of the period but hanging tough.

Two quick goals see Steelers 3-1 ahead. Around 13 min left in game.

Finishes 4-1.
Well beaten in this one Steelers had all the pressure it was only really a matter of time before they got a couple of goals ahead and after that it was game over. How many wraparound attempts did they try, hunners!

Steelers were the better side last night but with the home advantage Flyers are well capable of winning tonight's return fixture.

Flyers were terrible last night. We looked so disorganised and disjointed, as if we hadn't played together before and that was always my fear with the long term injuries coming back, how does the team fit them in. The answer was simple, we didn't We have been playing so well when we have been down on bodies it seemed as if we left assignments to someone else. Everybody had stepped up when we were short and it seemed as if we were leaving things to each other last night cause the extra bodies were back We never won one on one battles, or battles along the boards. Our cycle game was non existent and the less said about our power play the better To use a Dutiaume phrase, we weren't engaged and got what we deserved I thought that at the end of the second that going in at 1-1, in a game we didn't deserve to be level in, would have given up some life and motivation but we showed absolutely nothing It was a very disappointing night

"Some of my guys have been playing extended minutes"......"by the 3rd, the legs started to drop away a bit".......... well do something about it TD instead of using the same old moan week in week out. His time needs to be up!

The fitness levels are not there the conditioning is not there and it's the same every year if you don't have this type of staff on board you will more than you win simply because your knackered near the end of the games and with injuries it makes it 10 times worse because the rest of the imports play even more mins, and because no local talent is being propaly brought through we have no one to step up
