What happened with DOPS this week???

To me thats a suspension, comparing to previous checks from behind being banned for. Would like to hear what the excuse was to the club, maybe TD could enlighten us? Then again we just bow down to the powers that be. If was a Storm player for instance, guaranteed they would of been suspended. Corrupt arena league.

If we lived in an alternative universe and the two hits in question had been by Flyers players on Steelers players I think that we all know that severe punishment would have been handed out to both players in an instant.

The EIHL sucks, I so wish there were an alternative to it.

It certainly looks worse than the Nikiforuk boarding incident that got him a game ban. The explanation talks about a high percentage of injury.

I can't see the Bloodoff incidents in the highlights.

The hit on Schaber certainly looks deliberate, to the back on a player that may not be expecting it and high. The only expected outcome was the one that happened. By hitting a player in these circumstances, a head injury is highly probable.

The league have made an emphasis on cutting out dangerous hits. Strange then that we have 3 players out with concussions from more than dubious hits (granted Crowder is just back). I think it is not just this incident but the perceived injustice of the Manchester game that probably makes this one so hard to take far less understand.

We maybe need to remember that Bloodoff and Gauts were involved negatively in this game too. It would be good to hear Steelerblades view for some balance.

As it is, we need to suck it up. My learning is that we compete in a 2 tier league, owned by and run for a few select teams. Rules will prevent the Flyers from being candid on this but would expect the FFP to be.

Stay pesky Flyers, we clearly annoy them.

Can’t see the FFP having much to say. Not so much interest from the Press lately. Not for the first time this season the Sheffield game saw the press box deserted.

The press editor is more interested in getting freebies from everyone and boring it's readers with concerts he has been to. It's past its sell by date for flyers news
