How is having a smaller budget inept...read his article he gives reasons for going...are all the other teams that were after him inept as well, You supposedly write articles for social media, read a few, it's obvious players have signed, why they choose not to release the news I don't know why, but I'm sure there will be an announcement or two soon. Where can I read Craig's article on his reasons for going to the Clan? www.heraldscotland.com/sport/other_sports/17598575.craig-moore-signs-on-at-glasgow-clan-and-targets-place-in-gb-squad/Can't blame Moore at all. How could he turn down the chance to work with the GB coach and prove he should be part of the GB squad.

The over-reaction on this forum makes for some hilarious reading.
We never got Craig back - move on and get over it ffs.

Did it occur that there might already be things happening behind the scenes that just haven’t been announced yet? I agree communication in the off season is non existent but just because there’s been no announcements doesn’t mean they’re sitting twiddling their thumbs and not doing anything. Disappointed we’ve lost Moore but end of the day that’s what happens in hockey, it’s a short career so can’t blame guys for wanting to make the most of the opportunities available to them

If you look at last nights timmings on twitter both Flyers and Clan announced at same time As i posted last night the chance to get a place on the GB senior team is a big draw you cant blame the lad Flyers will have had the exit meetings with all players and it will have been discussed as Moore says he has to think about himself and his career aspirations It happens in all organisations, its all about how Flyers respond with a replacement Brit D, gives someone else internally or external coming in an opportunity Maybee it will be Cochranes year to grab it

Majority people assume that because we're hearing nothing, nothing is happening in the background. I, for one, don't mind the radio silence at the end of the season and the month or so afterwards. Teams punting out player signings left, right, and centre early doors kill the build-up to the new season. If we announce our whole roster by the middle of June, it gives you very little to get you in the mood for the season starting, I think. That's my view on it but I'll no doubt be told I'm wrong.

At the end of the day Craig was only on loan from Cardiff. Hopefully he has made the best decision to further his career.

Not sure about Pete Russell didnt exactly do well at MK season before last and then Clan shakey end to season for some reason they had third in the bag 10 games out and at GB he has Corey and Keefer assisting him

So are we saying you can't get a GB slot if you don't play for the Clan......absolute balloons. Craig would have played against Clan often enough during a season to put himself in the shop window ....... it's all about money and who can blame him. If the pot at Kirkcaldy is a bit lighter nowadays it's because of the ownership / coaches lack of insight as to what is needed to boost the attendance figures ....... and that's not rocket science. Personally i think a GM should be in place and when attendances grow because of his/her input then funds should be available to raise the bar a bit in player recruitment. The current thought line of make the play-off cut and we are done for the season is not good enough, the fans deserve more than that, at the moment we have a coach WHO IN HIS OWN WORDS underestimated the league, can't get players to follow the game plan AND is not there to motivate players would be the first casualty on my list along with his side-kick .......just YES men and they have had a fair crack of the whip ..................I'm very sure a lot of fans would concur with these sentiments ....rant over.

Can only be a good thing for Craig surely.

Craig Moore has decided that of all the clubs interested in his services, Glasgow Clan is the best fit for him, good luck to the lad, and kudos to the Clan in persuading him that his immediate future lies with them. It’s also time people realise that at the moment the Clan are a bigger club than us in every sense of the word. Those that can’t bring themselves to admit it are burying their head in the sand. The only way this will change is if we have a change of ownership, someone who can drag this club into the 21st century...it’s not gonna happen tho!
