Game over storm hold on to win a crucial game. We are firmly rooted to last place.

Can this season get any worse before action is taken. this team should be charged under the trades descriptions act for pretending to be a ice hockey team

If we lose on Saturday we are five points out of a playoff spot.
Watching that tonight some imports clearly don’t give a damn about this team or our club. Pathetic effort from some tonight.

Huffed and Puffed but no killer edge no finish whatsoever and the PP is the worst I’ve seen since Season 1!
Positive
- Worked Hard for most of the game
Negatives
- Team is simply not good enough
When you look through the roster who would you keep for next season from the imports?
For me:
Morrison is decent Isaacs is dependable Emmerdahl is consistent Gauthier - Arguably our best player Cazzola - Again Arguable our best player Finucci - Consistent performer
The rest are not good enough or haven’t fully recovered from injury. We all have loyalty to Schaber but his body has started to go and the injuries have piled up over his career.
That brings six back arguably you could be more severe. Maybe Todd is working with his hands behind his back but for me should of been 3 out and 3 in before Xmas: Just, P Crowder and Quaile for me would have been those Cut and that might have allowed us to get our season back on track but now I think a playoff place is a far off dream

Waterboy I've said it before taking a football analogy they aren't trying for a coach they don't respect and don't believe in what he tells them he has lost the dressing room

Waterboy I've said it before taking a football analogy they aren't trying for a coach they don't respect and don't believe in what he tells them he has lost the dressing room Mate we get it you think Todd’s to blame, you can’t keep constantly saying the same thing over and over though on every thread. However they’re not trying to get him fired, they’re simply not good enough.

There doesn't look like any direction, or communication, they simple dump the puck almost every chance they get, we can't seem to play the easy pass, our pp Jesus it's like 5 guys stood there thinking what do we do here , there is simply no movement or no objective to move the D men to create a lane it's just aweful

Another frustrating night for me. A really good start to the game for about 6 or 7 minutes and a lovely wrap around goal from Finucci after three minutes put Flyers one up. Storm slowly edged back into the game and scored two in 76 seconds to take the first period 2-1. Possible penalty missed on Just in the build up for the first, then the defence go AWOL, Morrison saves the first attempt but can’t stop the second attempt, on goal two. Lots of pressure in the second but Flyers never really looked like beating Ginn and Morrison rarely troubled in the second period. A nice long range shot from Emmerdahl past a screened Ginn tied things up just into the second, but a mistake from Schaber at the blue line allowed Storm to get a shot away that Morrison might want back and it was game over. Four third period powerplay chances came to nothing with Ginn making one outstanding stop, but otherwise same as normal. A lot of huffing and puffing but little real quality from either team. Where is the too much talent that we are hearing about? Not in blue jerseys from what I can see. No home wins from November is not good enough with the same under achievers week after week. This team is about ten weeks too late in making changes to save a poor season.

Schaber didn't do great giving the puck away for their third but he received a rubbish pass with Storm players almost right on him.

And "The team below the Flyers in the league are Sunday’s visitors, the Manchester Storm," will actually be the team above us. Bloody amateurs. So simple to get these things right. And despite there being an announcement changing Sunday face off times after tonight to 5.30 Facebook page is still showing next week’s game as a 6.30 start. Sloppy.

A lot of effort but not much else. A below average team lacking the vital components of a hockey team - skill, tactics, size, strength, guts, grit, depth etc, etc.. Poor recruitment isn't even a debate anymore, it's where we go from here?

I'm going to do a first and blame the coaches for this defeat tonight. The Power Play was honkin'. It's been honkin', it's never been anything other than honkin'. For that the blame has to sit with the coaches. Change the angles players receive the puck, change the tempo, first time shots........
On our first PP it took over 50 seconds to take the first shot. I can't tell you exactly, as the clock on the scoreboard has given up too.
I don't accept the coach has lost the dressing room as there was no shortage of effort tonight. At the time out they all gathered in to hear the plan. Cazzola was even pushing into hear. From sitting behind him tonight I can guarantee he hasn't lost the team.
Where exactly the problem is I'm not clever enough to work out. This was another frustrating night because not only could we have won that, we should have. There have been far too many games where we have gone into the third period in tight games and lost out.
We go 1 up and then lose 2 or 3 far too easily and then spend the rest of the game trying to claw it back.
There are clearly some fundamentals missing. Is it mentality from both players and coaches? I do agree there is one or two that just are not good enough. But only one or two and that needs addressed as much as the mentality and power play.
