The usual diabolical break out followed by dump and perhaps chase or a gunghoo cross ice pass, nobody going to the net and the least said about the power play the better.

Simply the best 20mins of hockey I’ve seen from the flyers this season.
Competing, hitting, out working just pushing hard all period. Started with Jones stepping up with a good hit on the first shift and it set the tone. Him and Buesa are doing a grand job playing hard. It seemed to make the rest sit up and realise they were in a game.
I would be happy to pay to see that every period!

Devils win third period 3 nil and game 5-2.
They are a well oiled machine compared to us, great second period to get ourselves back into the game but you always thought Devils would grind out a win.

Decent effort and some good performances but out skilled, to many average performances though. Playing to the usual atrocious systems and no changes to them for the full 60 minutes. Overall a reflective scoreline and one that Devils never really looked like losing.
