Hi folks, a cousin of mine in Canada runs and plays in an over 40's ice hockey team in Winnipeg. They usually take an overseas trip every year to play a series of friendlies recently in Chechoslavakia and Switzerland with obviously a social side. They have asked me to see if there would any interest from Uk clubs or supporters in doing something similar. The trip is self supporting/funded BTW.
I'd be grateful for any serious responses, there is scope for reverse fixtures.
Geoff

Sounds great, not sure what who the best person to speak to about this would be but will try and bring it up at the fan forum if it goes ahead

Thanks admin, these are all amateurs who enjoy a game and special games overseas. It is social and I understand they mix the teams up with home and away players anyway and based on my contact with them it should be fun.
Grateful if you could spread the word wherever you think you can get a response. They would be delighted to arrange some games in Scotland.
Thanks Geoff

Thanks Geoff We've had some awesome visitors the last few pre seasons. What a laugh with the German sides/fans. It'll always be a good thing building ties with other clubs, and would be a good excuse to engage our fans during the normally barren off season too. Can only see what they say but hopefully they'll let fans in more after this event (ever hopeful 😂)
