Following last nights game the rumour mill on twitter has gone into overdrive, not in any small part due to the tweet from Jordan's Dad.
Wouldnt surprise me one little bit if he did leave, no idea why any Brit/local player would put up with TD and his B/S anymore.

Wonder if this has anything to do with TD's sudden, apparent, change in opinion on playing the Brits as per his interview with the FFP posted today. His comments really beggar belief. It really is time to go Todd (and Jeff).

TDs about turn on the brits is in my opinion nothing but an attempt at self preservation.

IF he does do what he suggested in the interview last night and not abandon ship after a single shift where they give up a goal then isn't that what people have been shouting for given that we are toast this season ?
Ideal from the perspective of seeing how McKenzie, Buesa and Jamieson can handle significant minutes in games between now and season end. They should also get Simpson back. That way it will set everyone's expectations going forward.

If Jordan is unhappy and wants to go let him go now. He does ok but that's about it.

Jordan would be better doing what the rest will eventually do and get himself a slot in the NIHL before more follow suit from the EIHL. I have it on good authority Jordan and Bari played some regular shifts in Nottingham in the 1st/2nd but looked less in the 3rd. Both will move on if they have any sense!!

If I were him I'd leave, what ever guff TD spouts at the moment about playing brits we all know he would throw them under a bus at the drop of a hat or have them sit for games on end.
Why would any brit want to play for us the way most have been treated over the years?

I hope the kid does leave, he’s capable of becoming a regular third liner in the league so he’d be better getting away from the worst coaching staff in the league and getting to a club that actually know what they’re doing.

Hope he stays put and works hard to get/deserve a regular shift Just like Sam Jones I agree with most this season is done no playoffs this year So develop Jordon and Scott Jamieson see how they do

They put him in the top 6 for a spark and to send a message to the imports, when Fife go down what happens? He gets benched through no fault of his own most of the time but because our coach doesn’t have the bravery to sit an import.

Should Buesa and McKenzie have gotten more ice time this year? Granted they probably should but only the coaching staff know why they havent. I dont think Dutes and Hutchy are getting anywhere near the credit for the development of Sam Jones, he’s a brit and probably pushing 20 minutes a night. Does this show if the Brit is good enough theyll get a chance? This is my opinion but i dont think mckenzie is good enough to play on the third like anymore and i dont think buesa is ready to start putting points on the board in a top 9 role. Ideally id have Buesa in the NIHL to find a scoring touch. I do like the idea of rolling the fourth line with a rotating import center. Mckenzie is taylor made for that role but id rather we developed buesa into a point scorer and not a chip n chase guy. Just my opinion but probably a load of poop

The guy has enough experience and still has an impact to play regular minutes without any hesitation. Buesa needs ice time GB u20 who needs to get better and will. Dutes and Hutchy have a track record here and at Dundee for being terrible towards local guys and developing more. Jones he is doing now what he did in the first game of the season. His development happened long before he arrived at FIA.

His development happened long before he arrived at FIA. I disagree, i think mckenzies move to braehead all those seasons ago killed his game. I loved him in dundee and edinburgh(granted the league was significantly poorer) where he looked like he could score 10+ goals a season. I just dont think he’s capable of that anymore unfortunately. As a 4th liner? Yes sign him everyday of the week. It looks like we agree on Buesa so i’ll leave that point. Personally i think the coaching staff have done well with Jones. I dont think anyone could have predicted how well he’d adjust to this league. Now he’s had pp and pk time this year where he couldve rid the pine quite easily but hes clearly trusted. This is obviously where the NIHL has worked for him. Potentially Plews has done the right thing going there and a potential target for next season?
