Bari’s game has changed your right. The goal scorer (playing with Jarolin) isn’t their. He can still score though but his strengths these days are as a 3rd 4th liner who can fore check hard and throw hits and will chip in with points.
Buesa mmm not sure I do agree I think he needs to get better as does any guy at his stage of career but flyers don’t the team or to be more precise these coaches ain’t the guys to do it. Jordan will need to move clubs to realise his full potential. That is only because TD and JH ain’t doing him any good.
Jones was widely regarded as the best Brit defenceman not in the EIHL Aaron Nell said as much when he left, even praised him as one of the best players in the NIHL during the second half of last season.
While bringing him in has to be applauded I don’t place much if any of the play he has displayed at our coaches feet. That’s down to the guys own hard work and coaches he has had before this season. As for PP PK time he is out top scoring defenceman still despite being out for what 3-4 months. Imagine what he could have done alongside an Ian young or Russ Moyer!

Good third or fourth liner and tries to lead by example. Plus when he does make a mistake you can see that it matters, unlike some of the coasting imports this year. Buesa looks pretty good at times but as soon as he makes a bad play, he is stapled to the bench. Needs proper mentoring and encouragement to help him improve his game. Jones is the best Brit we have had in years, possibly in all the Elite era. Agree about Young and Moyer. That would have been worth seeing.

Why don't they have Bari on the first unit PK ? He did that job in Dundee and Glasgow. Sure he can be effective and it's extra rest for a more offensive import.

It's an utter disgrace when you think of some of the players who actually are on our PK units. One of the few players who's good in the corners and uses his body weight well. With all his experience its criminal not to use him.

There are a few young Scots doing well in the NIHL, we could do a lot worse than trying to set up some sort of link with one of the clubs to get our young lads there which might help them with the step up.
Plews, Morris, Ferguson as well as Robertson and Cochrane.
Interesting to see Steven Chalmers back playing for Hull as well!
