End of period 1
Flyers 1 v storm 0
Flyers hit the iron twice and Matt Ginn with at least 3 really quality saves out could have been over already

Good first period from the flyers, controlled the play pretty much all period. Only thing missing is a bigger lead. Storm look slow guessing hard game last night and long trip up has had an effect. Expect more from them in period 2.

Much better from the storm, they moved to 1-4 which stopped flyers having so much ice to skate into. Shocker from Morrison gifted them a goal, defenceman needs to take control in that situation. Waited to long and paid the price.
Ginn kept flyers out with a few excellent stops from partial one on ones. Quick answer to regain the lead from Schaber ( must have been very close to high sticks). Flyers a little lucky to still be in front as storm had the better of that period for me.
Massive 3rd period coming up.

SOG 8-4 Storm They needed a howler from Morrison to get of the mark Tip in from Schaber Important bit 2-1 Flyers Storm feel like officials are corrupt ☹️ Storm got away with plenty offside calls Period 3 coming up Flyers simply have to win in regulation ☹️

Good game culminating in a 4 point weekend yes you are not imagining this Flyers never looked like they lost focus all night A slip up by Adam Morrison gave Storm an opening but Schaber scored to put Flyers ahead Storm equalised but period 3 and two points went to home side Strange officiating tonight whistles were put away with Storm getting no power plays Finnerty as usual not happy Happy for the guys but they have left it to late we have played 3 games more than the teams closest to us Tall order but doable

Flyers well on top in first and ahead with a fine finish from T Crowder. Would have reflected the play more if the two Flyers shot that hit the post had struck the net.. The second was a scrappy affair with few real chances made. Flyers gifted Storm their goal with another behind the net howler but a nice tip in front by Schaber less than a minute later put Flyers back on top. Two minutes into the third Storm pulled it level again with Flyers all at sea. It took until nine minutes in for Flyers to take the lead again with another deflection from P Crowder. Flyers hadn’t been in the period until then but saw the game out with Manchester never really looking like troubling Morrison again. A good two points but too late I fear. Good performances from Cazzola yet again, Schaber, Gauthier and the three Brits. No idea why McKenzie and Buesa sit so much when Just and Captain not so Fantastic play in all situations. Happy with the mostly hard working, deserved win and the crowd got well behind the team. Looked busier than the 1100 declared on the gamesheet.

Two poor teams, sadly not much spark or excitement despite what was at stake. Couldn't argue if these two were 9th and 10th come the end of the season. Some good performers though, easiest mom of the season for Cazzola, Schaber turned up as did Gauthier, Morrison (despite the blunder) and most of the D. And clearly Buesa and McKenzie work like dogs out there, putting some of the imports to shame.

I think it’s too little to late. I reckon at a minimum we need 8 points from our last 7 games as Manchester, Glasgow and Dundee have quite a few head to heads, so points will be going to them one way or another, three point games in that mini series will be disastrous for us. We have 5 away games out of the 7, 3 games in Belfast, one apiece in Sheffield and Coventry with only Coventry and Glasgow at home. It would be nice if we still had something to play for when the Clan stumble into town.
