Been browsing elite prospects to see if there were any Brits playing junior hockey over in Canada or America (which there are plenty of) and one of them caught my eye as a potential future prospect. James Spence only 17 but is 5”11 and 81kg and was wondering what others would think of him. He’s a right handed shot forward and seems like he would be a good player to develop for the future. He’s also been selected to play for the GB u18’s so he’s clearly doing something right. Just a thought as we’ve brought Brits in from the NIHL and was wondering if we’d ever bring them in from overseas

He played at Kirkcaldy for a good few years and his parents are from Kirkcaldy and stay in Glenrothes. I guess he will need to return home sooner or later but whether he is too good or not good enough at this time for the Flyers is anybody's guess. I doubt that Flyers will "bring" him back and he will return when his options in North America run out. Some right haddys have been picked for junior GB teams by the way. (Not suggesting James Spence is one)

In a normal club he would be exactly who you would target.

I can’t find any way to search unless you actually put in players name any help would be greatly appreciated I mostly go to the nations tab and click on Scotland, then you can type in for example 2002 in the date of birth filter and then it’ll show you all the players registered that were born in that year and who’s main nationality is Scotland. That’s mostly how I do it
