Trying to stay on topic with signings.
It's good to see fresh faces, and not just the tired old ones from the last season.
Hard to gauge the talent yet, but i am hopeful.
IMO we need to beat Clan, Stars and Storm - all of which are getting some big bodies, so we will need size to stand up to that.

D man worries me. 3rd level in Sweden for the past ten years. Going to need to step up to be anything as good as Dutes claims. 56 in scoring at that level amongst defencemen. Little bit of context Logan Mailloux recent Montreal pick in the NHL draft ( controversy aside) at 17-18 had 3 points less but played 15 less games.
Highest goals and points in this level came 9 years ago. He has averaged 4 goals and 10 assists across his career in hockeyettan.
Emmerdahl for context played 9 seasons in the Swedish second tier - Allsvenskan. That’s a big difference in standard.
Hopefully he turns out to be an amazing find but he is going to have to be something special to be a standout for us. There are some heavy experience being signed in the league for the upcoming season.
Too early yet but I’m starting to worry or wage bill is going to be low this season.

Aye agree, when you look around the league the question I always ask myself is what other team would take these guys? And other than Dundee I can’t really see anyone else, maybe 1 or 2 but that’s now 5 kinda unproven imports in the line up, that’s a lot of risk. They might all turn out to be gems and fair play if that’s the case but the odds of Todd and Jeff finding 4 or 5 gems at the same time seems unlikely |

No point getting too worked up about the imports just now we'll know soon enough how good they are once we've seen them on the ice, I'm glad to see a few new faces after the last seasons dross though.
Your right tho swarfiga TD and JH couldn't find 4 or 5 gems in a De Beers jewellers.

It's not Dutiaume style but I'd still like to see someone with a bit of size to take a bit of the heat when the opponents goons start playing up, letting our players play. Relying on the refs to maintain order doesnt always work!!

Its pretty simple in my eyes, you dont have to fight the tough guys. Alot of them arent great skaters or hitters at this level so its really just staged fights that will occur. I much preferred seeing guys that dont normally fight just chuck them |

Moyer LeBlanc ( who clearly had huge talent) Bloodoff Goat both with AHL games on their CV. We still have guys to sign but unless they come in with similar CV’s the two teams on paper will be far apart. Our surprise guys that year Young Mosey Heelis all ended up being great hoping our new guys end up the same. |
