Antiquated club, $hit team, $hit coach, no silverware prospects, “historic” rink, everything done on a budget, bulbs missing from the scoreboard, potholes in the carpark, haven’t even seen the players driving the one enticement, a Merc, yet. |

Registering Grigors for a few games and him taking up one of the maximum 20 import places has to be one of the craziest decisions made by the club, just doesn't make any sense at all. In hindsight it may very well be just that. I guess at the time they were happy to make it a panic short term signing with their thoughts being that the team that was recruited would not need such an extensive overhaul so one wasted change would not factor into anything ? |

I hope in an interview he’s asked the question because only he can give the answer |

He might like a challenge Perhaps he liked the team and the rink and the pot holes Some folks don’t think the same Maybe terms and conditions suit He might like the area and what it has to offers |

So Schaber returns Honestly not sure if I'm going YES! or Really? Is he an improvement for this team, yeah of course he is good player knows the team league etc and can be very good. Injuries - no getting away from it he has had some awful luck on that front and it did have an impact on his game each time he returned. He should not have returned during the 18/19 season once he was hurt but he put team first and played through a bad ankle which eventually was operated on. He then gets a bad hit which leads to a concussion. Add in two other major injuries before becoming a flyer and that mileage has had an effect on his game. I do like how strong he is and how he has caught more than a few by surprise when he needed too Landon Oslanski anyone  . He gave Craig Cescon way more than pretty much anyone expected. Overall a positive signing and in a good team his minutes can be managed and he could be very effective BUT he will be asked to lead this team and thats the worry for me that he will be expected to be the Schaber who put up 61 pts in 55 games during 17/18 on a high scoring offensive team with strong players around him. Thats obviously not a team we currently have. If we signed him back in July and built a team of guys like him and the Goat we would all have been happy I do fear though we will simply ask to much of him. All lot will depend on other replacement guys coming in over the next few weeks. Haddad and Goat for example, having them on a line with Schaber yeah I would come back to watch. Welcome back Chase, can we give him the C already! |

My guess with what is happening to teams over in North America from nhl down is those lads are probably unvaccinated hence why the team has suspended them. And don’t hold your breath on Dannick he is settled in back home and didn’t even play last year do we really want to keep bringing guys in that had nae thought of playing this season for nostalgia and for the happy clappers? Surely there is better out there and we need better.

questions got 2 be asked, wots the suspension for? Teams normally do this when guys take jobs in Europe it standard practice and means they retain the ECHL rights to the player. One of the guys suspended has already signed in Switzerland. |
