IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FIFE FLYERS GAMES
Fife Ice Arena looks forward to welcoming Fife Flyers and away fans back into the building after a long and difficult 18 months.
Masks must be worn at all times within the arena except when eating or drinking or exempt.
I’m sure many are aware of the problems the hospitality industry is currently experiencing; staff shortages and supplier issues.
We have therefore decided to provide limited food and drink options for the time being. We may also experience disruptions to our service throughout the Season. We’ll do our best to communicate any issues ahead of the games via our social media channels. We hope this will be temporary and we can get back to normal service soon. We ask customers to have patience in these areas and respect our staff and rules put in place to protect everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you all back!

We need a statement from Fife Ice Arena alright We have a major crisis on our hands The laughing stock of the league Not what anybody wants but we have got it on our doorstep It’s cruelty for the players and the paying public and the organisation This happened at Cardiff Devils a few years back playing out a tent We need a Todd Kelman type character to come in and turn it around Or is the plan to shut it down

Long term owners who have done a lot over the last few decades but can’t seem to understand their way doesn’t fit anymore. They need to move on, Tam and Jack are passionate Flyers men but they are killing this club!

Problem is... is there anyone waiting in the wings to take over? Who will put their hard earned money in to what, in all reality, is a loss making business with an asset (rink etc) that isnt worth very much other than history. Unless someone local has mega bucks they want to throw away then I can't see much changing. Maybe knock down the auld barn and someone could ask a windfarm developer to stump up cash for a 5,000 seater ice arena ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

If this was any other professional club in the land the club would be coming out and apologising to the Fans, who are the lifeblood of the club.
They would be pleading with the fans to stick with us at this time and making sure that player-fan relations were high so we at least have their back. But the radio silence from this club is deafening. No build up to matches, no real player interviews, no news from the owners it is quite simply ridiculous. We have 1 point since the season started and not scored more than 2 goals in a game. We have been outshot by at least 2:1 in every game this year. We are the Fife Flyers the most historic franchise in British Hockey and we are slowly becoming extinct!
In terms of who would take over, you only have to look at Cardiff who got investment from Canada. It doesn’t need to be somebody local but I think you would get investment. Anybody who is Anybody in British Ice Hockey knows the Flyers have the potential to be a massive club! If the owners could only see that! What the selling price would be I really don’t know but I think there would be enough interest in the club.
