Highlights Shane Owen hung out to dry again Shane Owen kept it from being a cricket score First period our team worked hard but no end quality This is a major issue there is good players in the team but right now there is no finishers Puck retention a joke we kept giving it away and panicking We’re built to light for this League Dundee deserved the win Don’t think I have ever seen Dundee beat us 1-6 at home Dutiaume has his work cut out as folks will not pay £20 every week to see us getting a spanking Make the changes now or lose the fans Lot of booing tonight Not good

Well that was poor to say the least. The first period wasn’t braw, with neither goalie troubled too much. Dundee looked so much fresher despite having played last night. Flyers two powerplays looked disjointed and disorganised, with little created. The second was much the same from Flyers and were punished on Stars first powerplay, then a lousy line change contributing to the second and a third before the end of the period. The third period was just as bad, with the loss of two more powerplay goals, with a nice finish from McNicholas in between them, one of very few bright spots. Dundee rubbed salt in the wounds with a sixth in the last minute to complete a totally miserable night. The fans had started to leave long before then and nobody could blame them. Flyers had nobody that you could think would change the game with too many careless passes, terrible line changes, no leadership, no physicality, no creativity or guile and 0 for three on the powerplay says it all. We were lucky to get 0. Don’t know where Stadnyk and Adelgran were in the third. Didn’t notice them at all. Maybe because I had my head in my hands!! The one positive in the third period was the icing of Jamieson and Krogh, who didn’t look too out of place and might well benefit from more ice time. Not a good night and I have fears of an embarrassment tomorrow at Cardiff. Hope I’m wrong. Many more nights like this and the novelty of having hockey back will no doubt disappear fast for a lot of fans.

Probably best not to pick over that tonight.
PP was miserable and when you clearly needed to get momentum it did the oppposite going 0 for 3 before the inevitable Stars PPG on their first shot. I dunno about passive PK but we appeared to go chasing the puck resulting in our box being dragged all over the place.
Chase with the goal surely but announced as 19 from 91 - I know my head was in my hands but ......
The glimmer is at least the correct noises are being made from the coach, no dressing things up or excuses being made so far - action awaited, until then grin and bear it.

This team has played 15 periods of hockey Scoring 5 goals and conceding 17 with Sean Owen getting a few mom performances In the 3 competitive games played scored 2 Conceded 13 That’s worse than season 1 You can’t dress this up
