Probably best not to pick over that tonight. PP was miserable and when you clearly needed to get momentum it did the oppposite going 0 for 3 before the inevitable Stars PPG on their first shot. I dunno about passive PK but we appeared to go chasing the puck resulting in our box being dragged all over the place. Chase with the goal surely but announced as 19 from 91 - I know my head was in my hands but ...... The glimmer is at least the correct noises are being made from the coach, no dressing things up or excuses being made so far - action awaited, until then grin and bear it. Definitely Chase that scored

A good Flyers team on the ice means more bums on seats…..simples This is unacceptable what we are watching in Fife at the moment. This team belongs in the SNL not the NIHL!

So would now be a good time to mention the roster restrictions in place this season and how registering and playing Grigors will waste 1 slots that was only filled to help out during these defeats We can only sign 6 more imports during the entire season and one of those slots needs to be kept as emergency should your goalie go down. Registering Grigors looks like poor roster management as this point. Once we sign his replacement we can only swap out 4 import skaters. Sorry to highlight this on a sunday morning!! Edit: also noise from Twitter about a player shouting back at fans after the game last night...... this is going to get ugly fast.

Benson and Adelgran are just not anywhere near this level. Anderson and Stadnyk at least have a bit of speed, McNicholas is so small too they all just seen to get pushed all over none able to hold a puck in the corner like we used to see from Schaber. Lescivs looks uninterested, probably as its too physical and fast for him. It's a disaster to be honest as crowds will drop, the owners for me are the issue, they should be looking at Dundee to see what is possible with wee bit organisation and ambition instead of penny pinching. And why is the boy Krogh there he can hardly skate for this level?

Make no mistake, this team is down to the management holding the purse strings ..as the saying goes you can only **** with the **** you have got and if you are not getting the ok to sign players you want due to there being cheaper out there then you can only do so much. Tommy won't now change anything as costs too much..rest assured Todd will be as frustrated as the fans and will be pulling that curly mop out

Oh and I share the comments on FB at why does Todd think by signing a team of skill players we will get physicality he is expecting something most these boys have never done and not the reason he signed them. Grasping at straws. And last point from me is why waste an extra wage on 2 bench coaches, if we cant afford a decent roster get rid of one bring a player asst coach, makes no sense, but then nothing does at this club top to bottom.

Crowd was 1565 last night, down what 6/700 from the pre season game against the stars, Saturday night against a local rival and the just scrape over 1500 fans. Really a poor sign of the club and the early days of this team.
I actually feel really sorry for one fan from twitter who posted before the game they were heading to their first game last night to see the flyers. Imagine that being your introduction to Flyers hockey.

Question for those who were there, Rumgay for the stars did he get much icetime.
You know the SNL 20 year old who clearly cant make the jump from SNL as it's far to big (but he flattened a giants player last weekend while playing a regular shift).

Moribund - a word rarely used but sums up the Flyers organisation just now.
Structurely that sits with the owners. I don't think they are being tight with money. They're probably spending what they can. That's prudent and to be applauded. They're being tight with their control of a club that desperately needs to grow.
Last night summed it up; - A DJ that couldn't be more flat if he tried. The poor flag girls that get no theatre or real introduction to help their performance. A mascot that goes round once and off with no interaction. Music that can barely be heard. It's OK though because we all know the tired play list. Announcements that are muffled and monotone. No entertainment in the breaks. No shirt off the Back and other chances to make the night fun. I get the need to be covid compliant but Shirt off the Back and free give-aways can be resolved so easily and still be safe. I can buy anything online so why not tickets for that? The number of sponsors round the rink looks to have shrunk. You can't view the penalty clock as the score board still hasn't been fixed. The whole rink rings with a charm and history no other team can buy and is it promoted? The online shop - will say no more. The team comes out to no fanfare.
If no one bothers - why should the team and that's what we saw last night. Dreadful stuff.
The Flyers have slumped to providing the very minimum required for an increased price this season. I cannot see many wanting the product.
I do not want to knock the many people who I am sure try hard in ensuring we have a team on the ice but we are watching the death of the club at the highest level of competition at least, for the sake of leaders not wanting to free their grip and getting help in.
Anyone know Flyer CPR?

The speaker in section D was working last night That was only positive Hopefully they will turn things around with a few changes We need higher end guys in It feels like the ownership held off till the Scottish Government gave the green light and we were slow to get Recruitment going Last to the pond

Hockey in fife is done! A owner who has to be in control! A coach who is happy to keep taking the money because it's an easy job for him! A team full of SNL quality players! A front office full of selfish self centred and lazy individuals! A commercial manager who no one wants to deal with! A building that bleeds history, but is being left to rot! A ice pad that is broken but never fixed! the list go's on. The crowds won't last watching that excuse for hockey. The coach should quit! The front office should quit! Everyone who has been been working for that club the last 3 years should be stepping aside for fresh/positive and exciting people to lead the team and off ice product! Then maybe just maybe you will see change! The only way apart from that you will see change, is if the fans boycott it even if they have bought season tickets. Boycott the games for a few weeks and they have to take action. Fed Up with the same excuses and zero vision!

Emm, pretty sure there was a mistake on the gamesheet and he wasn't even icing - sure the Stars only rotated 5 D all night. However to further your point, as early as the 1st period Sills double shifted at centre to allow them to ice Garrigan and Robertson as a 4th line - we have last change we could have matched that from that point - instead Jamieson sat until midway through the 3rd and then played 3 of 4 consecutive shifts after nearly 2 hours of sitting from warm up - Krogh got I think 2 shifts in the last 6 or 7 minutes.

Highlights Shane Owen hung out to dry again Shane Owen kept it from being a cricket score First period our team worked hard but no end quality This is a major issue there is good players in the team but right now there is no finishers Puck retention a joke we kept giving it away and panicking We’re built to light for this League Dundee deserved the win Don’t think I have ever seen Dundee beat us 1-6 at homeDutiaume has his work cut out as folks will not pay £20 every week to see us getting a spanking Make the changes now or lose the fans Lot of booing tonight Not good Indeed you have not - Stars biggest win at Kirkcaldy in the EIHL.
