the signing news are dire this yr wit happened to the real stuff we used 2 get wi the videos. nae build up 2 the signings either n they jist post a few lines no even bother to write a pr, which means theyll no hav even sent them to news folk to get the word round Ffs stop yer fkin moaning. We’ve got 4signing in one day and all are of a decent quality. Who gives a fuk about videos. 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ |

Pleased to see Lawrence back, thought he made a real difference to a poor team last season, and the other signings announced all looked good, no squad fillers!

I suppose the flyers social media and signing policy is best summed up by actions speak louder than words, hopefully the standard continues.
If they can add perhaps McNicolas and or Magee, and just maybe a tough d man to this it has the makings of a good squad on paper.
These signings should at least signal to other players weighing Flyers up as being more serious this season.

Flyers sign Finnish sniper Janne Laakkonen
Fife Flyers have added firepower to their forward line with the signing of sniper Janne Laakkonen for the 2022/23 Elite Ice Hockey League season.
The 40-year-old Finn has played in the EIHL on two separate occasions, in 2019/20 and 2021/22. Both times he iced for the Coventry Blaze and put up impressive numbers, with more than one-point per game throughout both seasons.
His latest season in the Elite League saw him ranked as the 17th top points scorer in the league.
Laakkonen brings a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years in his home nation, Finland. He’s also iced in Sweden, Russia, Austria and several other European countries.
