Coventry’s top points scorer last season 8th in entire league in assists. Yet folk ain’t happy because he is 40?  Proven at levels much higher and obviously in the EIHL. Right line mates on the PP and he will get us goals. Flyers are starting to put together a decent squad. Still need a genuine tough player in there IMO. |

Another guy bringing his zimmer with him mate you actually need to get a grip a wee bit. Like absolutely you have every right to moan but deary me, this guy literally tee’d up Ferrara every night. Why cant he come in and do the same for Phillips arguably a much better player. Who honestly cares if he’s 40 Would like to see us bring in a Finnish Centre to play along side |

Watching him it never occurred to me that he was that old - always good against us so can understand why we would target him.
Will depend on line chemistry- doesn't it always though.

We do seem to be signing some boys with quality and proven experience, mixing in some youth as well.
Last year we went with alot of first or second season pros and it didnt work.
To date the roster has experience in these leagues
SHL: 6 GP
HockeyAllsvenskan: 406 GP
Liiga: 493 GP
AHL: 447 GP
Not bad going with slots to fill!

Totally get the first thought off janne being too old and all that , fife being in the position they are fans obviously want young fast hard hitting echl/ahl players but I think lakkonen is a very good player in this league and his age is very mis leading a lot of Coventry fans upset he’s gone , good signing. IMO just needs backed up by a good few more fowards same Caliber as our other signings , and maybe even with his age a back up forward also

Well we will see what happens once Todd and hutchy start coaching them, I want the team do well but past seasons tell me that ain't gonna happen they now have to prove me wrong. I really hope we are good this year because we seriously need to be
