Dundee win 4-2, utter garbage [/quote Yes bad that we got nothing from the game but it was a real Derby game We were not out worked or out played Sanche got a Pp goal for 3-2 and a ENG for 4-2 The Flyers battled hard all night Stars goalie pulled of some incredible saves Anybody that says our team didn’t try all night long and come up against a hot goal tender They were not watching

You can’t win every game. All that can be asked is that the team put in 60 minutes, which they did. Sometimes the bounces will go your way, sometimes they won’t. This is a good team this year and I’m not a happy clapper

Enjoyable first period with both teams playing good passing hockey. Stars goal came after a potential interference call, where Kloz was taken down off the puck, wasn’t given. Kivilahti kept on digging at the puck in front of Stars goalie to get the equaliser for a 1-1 first period.
23 seconds into the second Dundee got a penalty shot which was converted and then frustrated Flyers for the rest of the period, not allowing Flyers room to set anything up and when Flyers did get chances the goalie kept them out.
Kivilahti scored a cracking equaliser 4-1/2 minutes into the second and Flyers had good spells on top but couldn’t get another. A powerplay goal near the end and an empty netter for Stars gave Dundee the points.
Stars probably deserved the win. They got their tactics right and stopped Flyers getting back into the game after the penalty shot.

Dundee win 4-2, utter garbage Eh?? Not sure what this is referring to. Flyers outshot and for large parts outplayed Stars. Difference is our PP was poor, especially a 45 sec 5 on 3 should have produced more. Good atmosphere in rink seems most folk were happy . Need to be more clinical in front of net I'm sure on another night it would be a comfortable win.

Power play is rotten, officiating is rotten, Chris Lawrence blowing oot his **** after 10 secs on the ice can't skate back to help back check as he is too slow, not enough hitting just a few things I noticed tonight, oh yeah and a few of the players thinking they can do it all themselves

Refs were poor again I counted at least 2 or 3 stone wall penalties that Stars should have got, but it wouldn't have mattered our PP is not great. Again I agree our D do not hit enough only Emmerdahl hits, but also disagree as our forwards are quite willing to get stuck in. And the refreshing thing for me is we hardly see any dump ins, and the passing in offensive zone is good. Overall for me it was a game that if we took our chances should have won. For once we outshot a team who are also a good team. The workrate is impressive. Everyone I spoke to really enjoyed a competitive game. My only issue is that once they get an import d back they will have to sit an import forward, and play Bari, he was not played enough last night and looks very unfit ala Lawrence. Certainly that game was more positive than negative?

Decent game last night and I thought Fife done enough to win. Work rate was great and they skated hard all game. Also hit at least 4 posts.
Refereeing was terrible. Missed clear interference, possibly a slew foot right before Dundees first goal and handed them a powerplay with 4 minutes left that decided the game. It was tripping but they didnt call stars for about 5 identical trips before that. Nae consistency so Really frustrating.
They'll win more than they'll lose playing like that. I'm not happy with a loss but I cannae believe how negative some comments on here are. It was a good performance from Fife. Bounces didnt go there way.
