All
i am not a hockey expert like many on this forum but its interesting that this team is very competitive away from home on smaller rinks where quality passing matters we have generated more points away from Kirkcaldy than at home and if the season was played on smaller pads we woukd be competitive in previous years we had teams who performed great in kirkcaldy but had an appalling record on the road - we ran over teams physically but not high skilled
given we have a large pad and most other clubs have small pads should that influence our recruiting and be honest about our intent - to me it might be better to be wining away from home and losing at home but that will impact the crowds who pay the wages
as I say I am not an expert but it’s worthy of debate

Manchester is the only rink smaller than anywhere else being NHL size, every other EIHL rink is IIHF size.

Any money to be made is from attendance at home games. You have to put a team out that will perform well at home to get crowds thru the door, we can't be having a team set up purely for away games.

That’s my point We picked an older team who don’t have te legs to compete on home ice But have the skills to compete away from home
The most fun is when FIA is a fortress

Only sign guys that you will allow to play there natural game if they play physical and drop the gloves then allow them to do that don't try and suppress how they play.it isn't fair on them or the flyers fans who pay to watch them and don't get to see them play at there best
