Should never have been an assist for scoon never mind a goal, the keeper made a save from scoon therefore goal should have been unassisted surely It's been a long time since that was the case and quite rightly so. A player who's caused a goalie to spill a shot that is then tapped in is surely more worthy of an assist than someone making a short pass in his own end which is sometimes the case (especially on 2nd assists).

Goalie never had control and Keller put in the rebound so Scoon picks up an Assist same reason Pitts picked up an assist on Chaumonts goal.

Our d-men did fantastic last night, and that includes Tommy Muir. Don't know what happened with Wando - I'm sure I saw him in the warm-up. We played with 5 D for half the game then Kyle went AWOL with skate problems and we were down to 4. So these guys deserve the plaudits for tonight! Two much needed points - at this stage I don't care how we get them. As for Krestanovich I don't think we'll see him at FIA - unless we draw Sheffield in the play-offs! I'm in two minds about Galbraith. We still need a big hitter if we are going to compete in the run in to the playoffs.

i saw him limping as he left mid way through the 3rd, kyle did have skate issues, i got told he was not well throwing up too. so he didn't play most of the 3rd. tommy did very well last night, nothing stupid made the easy pass, and got the puck out the zone when needed and also put in some good hits

Perhaps our 3rd line defenders would play better beside an import defender?

That's how you learn. Playing an all brit 3rd line does nothing to develop the game. It's being on the ice with better players, in game scenario's that hone the skills and build confidence.

Hence why the line of "go with less imports to give the Brits a chance" is nothing but a smokescreen.
