Hopefully Spence tells them where to go and doesn't spend another season riding the pine. Train with them when possible yes, but should be kestrels first, flyers second

If we are running with a spare import F and a spare import D, then we still have 3 import signings to announce. Think we are going to be very short with the squad this year unless we can pull one or two Brits out the bag very late on, which I am doubtful.

Of the Brits that are unsigned/unannounced from the NIHL, Juha Lindgren, Duncan Spiers, Scott Henderson and Cameron Brownley are the only ones I can see that MAY get regular ice time. They are all forwards though. Hell, if the concerns about Kay are size/age then I'd give Bradley Jenion a look. He played SPHL last year (same league Zach Carriveau moved onto from us) and he has the size to survive pro hockey in the UK. Slim picking for sure though. I just don't want to rely on 6 import D every night.

I just don't want to rely on 6 import D every night. As it currently stands I can’t see us ever ice 6 import dmen in a game bud, as that would only leave us with 8 import forwards. We only iced 5 last season in most games. Think that will continue.

Every team in the EIHL will be keeping tabs on Jenion, think if he was making a return to UK it would be to one of the Areana teams and not Flyers, he could demand a decent salary playing as a Brit.

I too wish Emmer well for the future, there’s no denying the boy gave his all for the Flyers.
