I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad Same as last year. Lack of depth will hamstring us. Start of flying. Injury/fatigue through Nov/Dec fit for January big playoff push for 8th. New players, new coach, same old tired story.

I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad Aye I thought the same today. I can see obvious upgrades here and there, and probably a lot more mobile on defence. TC has made his mind up to stick with speed and good puck handlers I think in the mould of a Sheffield, and you can see why they blew everyone away. But yes our depth again is the biggest issue, although you can see a few teams are now struggling for high standards full time Brits and so are signing quite a few 2 ways for options, apart from us. It would be great to hear what the plan is, I'm sure we ended the season thinking we will get at least one Brit d or forward who can play every shift, but seems a lot of boys have chosen not to play in elite like Cownie, or to go a different route like Moore. Fingers crossed our squad gels and we steer clear of any major injuries. At least we have a capable Brit keeper, wonder if there's any merit in some games with Owen sitting out to give us the full 3 lines of imports. Unless there's a mystery Brit still to come.

Don’t think the option of Owen sitting out is there, we’d then need another back up keeper unless we use one of the 20 we found last season

Tyler Heidt and Ben Sokay to come? Know people will say Sokay has re signed for Katowice but Glasgow’s latest signing Sato had signed in the KHL this season on elite prospects but has ended up in Glasgow so you never know plus he has played at uni with Curran and Delmas …

I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad It'll be what it'll be. I don't think we're ever going to win this league the vast difference in riches the big teams have over us will see to that. But we can hopefully put together a team that can finish mid table and be capable of springing a surprise come the play offs, but no guarantees on that front. Last year we sneaked into the play offs then got our rs handed to us by Sheffield, I hope this years team can improve on this.

I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad I think we lack depth, size and physicality. Pretty much the same as every year, it's the hope that kills us fans

I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad I think we lack depth, size and physicality. Pretty much the same as every year, it's the hope that kills us fans Agree with depth but size and physicality we had that in the team last year regarding emmer 6ft 4 , Pouteau 6ft 3, Shirley 6ft 3, pavlovs 6ft 4, Desrocher 6ft 4, A Eriksson 6ft 3. Did we really see any of them use there size and physicality apart from Pouteau and Pavlovs not really. The D isn’t small with average height being 6ft and then you have Krenzelok at 6ft 3 back there. He’s went for forwards who are mainly average height yes but our 2 best players who were leaps above everyone else in the team last year fell into this category. Also the top players in the league all range from the heights of between 5ft 8 - 6ft 0. Much rather have a guy like Pilon at 5ft 10 who wears his heart on his sleeve than 6ft 4 Desrocher who shys away from the physical side of the game. Size doesn’t mean physicality. Speed kills and that’s what Sheffield had in abundance last year along side depth. For sure depth will be our enemy this year again but the forwards speed and skill is something I’m really looking forward too
