Looking forward to seeing the new group over the pre season games.
Do we think that’s it for D? I’d expect 2 Forwards and that would be it for us

If we are going 5d like last season then that's it, and same for forwards we have 3 lines worth so 1 more import to come most likely. It's all comes down to whether they have a Brit still to come at all that can play good minutes, but that's looking less likely. It would be great to hear from TC on the depth situation, because if we don't have Spence then we are worse off than last season. Be good to hear what the plan is, now his squad would appear complete.

Looking forward to seeing the new group over the pre season games. Do we think that’s it for D? I’d expect 2 Forwards and that would be it for us We have 16 imports signed already. TC said he wanted 1 spare in each spot so there is only 1 more import to come. I hope it's more than 1 signing announcement though because without a Brit who can play every night, this recruitment means nothing if they're going to be overworked.

Coolen has already said Brodie Kay will be more involved this season, the 2 recent signings have logged big minutes in their careers, as well as our final import we need at least 2 brits forwards capable of eating some mins.

I will be honest I don’t know what to think about this year’s squad I think we lack depth, size and physicality. Pretty much the same as every year, it's the hope that kills us fans Size and physicality aren't as big an issue today as they used to be. It's all about speed, puck possession and a high tempo and Coolen has built a team with all that in mind I honestly think this is one of the most exciting teams that has been put together for years We wanted an upgrade on D and I believe that we have done that and I honestly wouldn't know who to leave out from that group and hopefully Coolen is true to his word and gives Kay more opportunities, I have no reason to doubt him Forward wise it looks as if we will have someone in Martineau who I think will be on a third line but has better Uni stats than Lajuenesse and again depending on who our last forward signing is, I don't know who would be left out. I like the balance, we have experience in spades with proven winners throughout the team. I think we have skill, speed and scoring in abundance on all of our potential lines and more scoring from our D than we have had in years Yes we lack depth, we always have, but we have managed to be successful despite that and we don't know if there is anything in the pipeline to resolve this

Do Kay and Page both not have 2 way deals this year? I’d expect both to spend most of that time with other teams rather than ourselves. From last year it’s obvious Coolen doesn’t fancy either of them.

Tyler Heidt and Ben Sokay to come? Know people will say Sokay has re signed for Katowice but Glasgow’s latest signing Sato had signed in the KHL this season on elite prospects but has ended up in Glasgow so you never know plus he has played at uni with Curran and Delmas … Then again maybe not

Humitz signs back home with Pilons old club. I would have gladly had him back here as our last forward. Thought his game consistently improved last season and towards the end was in our top four players

It can’t be just me that would rather watch videos of our new d men being physical, sacrificing the body, protecting the goalie, blocking shots etc than watching them score from the blue line?

I'm the same. I'd rather see a D-man doing a proper defensive job. Hopefully we get that to some extent, but I think all our d have been hired on the basis that they are mobile and will get the puck up quickly to the forwards and join the play to add offense. I don't see any of them being overly physical. I suppose we have to trust TC that this is what he thinks will be successful. Our forwards are much same apart from Pilon, but like folk said even our bigger forwards were not particularly physical last season, although I'd imagine they were able to handle the physical side better. Just have to wait and see.
