Cardiff sign Andrew MacWilliam 34 year old 6' 2" D man from Munich, 413 AHL games, 105 DEL games, 12 NHL.
Jarrod Gourley 25 year old 6'2" D man from Rapid City Rush 16 AHL games.
Hunter Shinkaruk 29 year old 5'10" winger from Iserlohn in the DEL. 325 AHL games, 124 KHL games, 28 DEL and 15 NHL. He has gone at nearly a point every other game in every league apart from NHL.
Reid Duke 28 year old 6'0" centre from Rosenheim in DEL 2. 159 AHL games. First ever player to be drafted by Vegas but never played for them.
It's going to have to be a very good team to finish above Cardiff this year. They are stacked.

Sheffield sign Ivan Bjorkly-Nordstrum on a 2 year 2 way deal with Steeldogs. 21 years old, Scottish born, played juniors here before moving back to Sweden so counts as home grown, surely flyers could've looked at him. 6"7 forward and already PPG player in the NIHL

Surely he should be keeping tabs on all the top Brit points scorers in the NIHL. Anyone who is producing a point a game is surely worth 5-10 minutes a night in the EIHL

Hearing that the boy Ivan had a release amount in his contract as Phantoms had done all the work to get him back to Brit status, so this may have put quite a few teams off both NIHL and Elite.

The problem with Brits now appears that decent Brits in the NIHL will now command the same as a low end to average import in elite, yet they may not perform to the level of a Dowd for example in Elite, and they will not just be happy with 10 minutes a night, when they are the main men at the lower level for.likely better money. Not sure how Flyers are going to bridge the gap. Although Dundee and Manchester do manage it.
