What harm could it do getting the experience of training and potentially playing with the flyers. The only message I can see it sending out is that he’s not seen to have potential to play for Flyers but has to play for other clubs in the elite. As I say, I haven’t seen him as a player or know his work / life situation but I just find it strange.

Is there not a limit to how many 2 ways you can sign, I guessing we will sign a third goalie on 2 way and a couple of forwards.

For me the flyers need to be far more proactive with the potential talent that comes through the club. If there are two ways or more experience needed then Flyers as part of this supposed Elite Academy, should be the ones saying that they will get them a club in the NIHL or NIHL1 to help the young boys develop or not. They've obviously decided that Kay is the way forward, along with Page, but are missing out on players that have trained with Flyers (Shevlin) and boys from Kestrels (Saunders) . Its too much for Coolen to be on top of also, so I wonder who it is that decides which junior the flyers are interested in, as TD and KIHC coaches or officials from past do not have a good record of developing talent to its potential

Another 3 two way deals for young brits, this time for the Nottingham panthers and another Scottish player slipping through the net in Ben Brown from Dundee. Having seen him plenty times I'm surprised he hasn't been with the stars but surely another 3 players that Fife could've/should've looked at and offered something
