Wonder what the current thoughts are on this seasons play-off weekend. Will the Flyers be on the ice at NIC? How many of us have purchased our tickets and booked accomodation already? Will we be there as neutrals in the crowd? Will Flyers ever be there?

Id love to see the Flyers there, but we need to bring a couple of players to make that push in the last 2 months of the league if we are to be at the play off weekend. Its also a great weekend to catch up with friends from around the league. We are all booked up, hotel and tickets and looking forward to it. We went to just the final last season and had a great time. Lots of hotels are fully booked so prices may start rising soon. We bought our tickets online and printed them off.

Flyers will not be there sadly. We'll finish 9th or 10th, and even more sadly, muir and his croney's will still think they are right in running a short bench. We're destined to come 10th again

We have a very good chance of getting to Nottingham as we will be playing a fellow Gardiner conference side in the quarter final to make the Nottingham weekend and anything can happen over 120 mins of hockey.

Only if they finish 1st or 2nd in conference. Which isn't likely.

Only if they finish 1st or 2nd in conference. Which isn't likely. If you don't win the conference, it then goes on league position. We could be second in conference and 10th in league and we wouldn't get a play-off spot. IF we can win the conference or be 7th in the league, then we have a chance. If we end up 8th and have to play the top seed, or end up 9th or 10th, we have little or no chance. Without new faces I reckon we'll be 9th or 10th.

It's a bit like one of those ill timed questions they ask on the official facebook page.... "so another defeat in Hull but can Flyers bounce back and make the play-offs then qualify for the finals weekend?"

Would love to see it but I fear our season has already started to fizzle out...

Out of interest, if the team make the play offs, is that a successful season or has the shenigans of the lack of players etc spoilt this season.. in other words do the fans just take what is given and accept it.

For me success this season indeed would be finnishing in the top 8, we have vastly improved on last season. But next season we must again improve. Perhaps starting with at least 10 imports and a bench coach would help.
