I hope it was simply hot air but I was a little upset by Hull players' behaviour at the home match. When Podge crashed into Bowns trying to score (and not trying to run him) we had Jeff Smith trying to disembowel Podge with his stick when Podge was flat on the ice. Then whilst in the penalty box after this, Jeff Smith was gesturing at Bryan Pitton and telling his Hull team-mates to get him. That I could put down to heat of the moment. But someone else heard Cloutier saying that Bryan Pitton was going to get it when we went down to play Hull. I hope that he wasn't serious about deliberately targetting a player who wasn't involved in any incident ? I'm flagging this in case the thugs are in earnest!

Lol....i dont think any Flyers players will be losing any sleep over threats made by clouts or big daftie smith !!! Maybe a chance for flyers to stick up for themselves, play hard physical stuff and if need be some of the flyers could even see if their gloves do come off !!!!

No thats hockey lol. Jason gets his name chanted around the rink when he simply talks to a guy, the guy is a great player but he's not had a single stand up fight all season didnt even offer B Leeb out when they were jostling and B Leeb is one of their top boys not a knuckle dragger. I hope he drops them at some point before the season is out.

Just checked JPs fights on you tube and ....errm.... I wouldn't be hanging the enforcer tag on him. He's needed on the ice anyway not sitting for 5

Cloutier's a class act and I don't see him indulging in threats AFTER a game-no way. Hull might need to up things physically as they strive to make a late surge but I don't see a problem in that.

heat of the moment what happens on the ice during a game 99% of the time stays there, the next game will be different

I think you're probably reading a bit too much into it. What he means is that they'll probably get a bit more 'in your face' with your goalie. I.e. when he freezes the puck, spray him with ice, annoy him and your D men, try to throw them off their game etc.

You've seen that coming across on the TV, i spoke to him at the Kia last Saturday and he was very pleasant and a Chicago Blackhawks fan, he told he he shared a room with Bob Probert back in his youth, he also said he will be playing/ coaching at Hull next year again.

Last season when we played Hull when Willie Nicholson got hurt, Clouts was heading to the locker room and asked me if I saw what happened, he replied I hope he's ok, good guy in my opinion but a Hawks fan not good

If anyone needs to "get it", it's Ondrej. I've watched him umpteen times deliver ill-judged or ill-timed checks to players, usually from behind and into the boards to defenceless players with little respect for them.
And I'm not just talking about Fife players, he's done it to a few players.
