The club continues to show a lot of contempt for fans, particularly through social media. Hopefully some of the sponsors are speaking out. Even if in private, it's harder for the club to ignore them. They won't be able to ignore the fans if enough of us stayed away even on a game by game basis

It is time for action. I hate to say it but I'd rather go to Murrayfield as a neutral to watch a game than give the owners money when they are happy with Todd.

I'd see the point if any of money went towards youth development This is the most sickening aspect of where we are right now. Stars were missing an import tonight so gave a young lad his full debut and quite frankly he looked better than any of our Brits. They also trusted a young Fife lad Moore to shift on their penalty kill tonight. Plews is getting decent ice time in Edinburgh. Since the first season we haven't blooded ANY new young players under 23. Apart from 1 year of John Dolan we don't sign Brits from elsewhere either. Todd just keeps re-signing the same guys he doesn't trust to give ice time, year in, year out.

Well said finchy. No progression. How the owners tolerate this defies me. I can't go along with this joke of a club any longer.

Todd and Danny should not have been allowed to be in charge this season. Maybe next season we can have the cubs look for players because the scouts are not doing the job. Time is up, it was a few years ago. Vote with your feet do not go to watch rubbish. If he had been in charge of a football team he would have been gone along time ago.

I said it before and I will say it again. The whole organisation stinks of cheapness from top to bottom and nobody in the clique cares a %&$# what the fans think.
The only way to change anything is to hit the club where it hurts. The purse strings.
I have not been since the 1st game v Clan and have been berated for it.
I want the club to succeed. Until there is a complete overhall of almost every part of the club I will continue to pick and choose.
I want them to succeed. It aint gonna happen with the clique in there tho.
Coaches and players alike have to take responsibility for this!!

This is our 5th year in the EIHL and, im sorry but we have the same guys in charge today,as we did the 1st season. And we are no better off.You expect to improve as the seasons go on.Apart from the season that we got to the finals weekend,we have went backwards.Last night Todd even stood behind the bench for the last period, not on it.How can he see the game clearly with a dozen or so players in front of him.Maybe he had given up by then. There was 2 empty seats in front of me last night, perhaps Danny and himself would like to sit there for the rest of the season and see what dross we are watching, along with the folk that matter. The FANS !!!!!We have now lost 5 on the trot,by the time we play Braehead at home next Sunday,i fully expect that to be 7....

As expected, defiant message from Todd in the FFP article. He seems to forget the losses very quickly and only remembers that winning streak. I also find it arrogant that he continues to take credit for it, I always felt that the players turned it around by gaining confidence and playing their style of hockey i.e. despite Todd and not because of him.

The only way I would accept Danny taking over the reigns would be if he went behind the bench and we got another import in to replace him. Tries to do far too much himself when he's got the puck.

So everyone wants Todd and Danny to go, and understandably given how a good looking confident team has seemingly been transformed into a bit of a nervous wreck of a team. There is also a real lack of on ice leadership and toughness, but that has been flogged to death in another thread. However who do you think would come here and work for TM to coach a team with a part time ageing Brit core, very few of whom, if any, are good enough to play for any other elite team? (I hate saying that and apologise as I have huge respect for all of them). The coach would have to accept trying to compete with teams who have their full roster including Brits on the ice at least 4 days a week. We are run, train and prepare more like an EPL probabably even an NIHL organisation, but we have imports of an Elite a League standard. Having a full import roster is only one part of the puzzle, and if the other parts are not in place then this is what we end up with. This is not a Club, it is a business run purely for the purpose of making a profit. The owners are unwilling or unable to invest in and run the organisation at the level required to compete in the Elite League. If they were we would have a full time Brit Core training four days a week with the imports. It is often said that "Flyers pay our imports well". How do we know this? If they do I would suggest they are wasting money by not having them play with a core of full time Brits. Better off paying Imports less and having full time Brits. Or how about this for an idea, pay the Imports and full time Brits well create a successful team and have 3000 in every week. But hey that would be a bit too radical I guess!

With Dutes is still burying his head and refusing to take any responsibility, the fans need to step up, boos aren't doing anything (he thinks they are fro the team and not him). Maybe we should start using banners to get the message across? Will struggle to hide from them if they appear in the live streams and highlight vids.

I don't think Todd was in any doubt who people were booing and shouting TAXI FOR TODD at when he walked over the ice on his own with the No 11 shirt to be auctioned, by the way the lady that won it looked like she had won the lottery. Yes it's definitely time for both to step down, last night showed that if there is a Plan A there certainly isn't a Plan B. Todd was off the bench standing behind his players when Dingle scored, he didn't jump for joy, in fact he stood emotionless and remained that way till the end of the game then simply walked to the dressing room. He was never the man for the job in the first place and nothing has changed since, not even his interviews,if any prospective employer looked at any one of those he would not give him a job, he does enough to get himself the sack in mostly every one.

I`ve said from the day we joined the Elite that I don`t expect us to be winning every week (as in BNL/SNL days) and all I wanted was a committed team to try their best. Give me entertainment. The coaches are included in that 'team' and unfortunately Dutes shows NO sign of commitment. He`s the man that has to kick ass, cajole, cuddle, roar at or do whatever to get the guys playing. He only roars at the Brits when he can be bothered and I`ve never seen him roar at the imports.
HE chose his players and his playing style/lines/special teams so ultimately the buck stops with him. I understand about questioning if a new coach would actually come here and work for TM but if he wants to stay in the league, then TM must change his attitude. But that`s for another thread.
Dutes..........gonnae just dae us all a favour please? I really don`t want to stop going to the games.
