I was a bawhair away from throwing my season ticket onto the rink last night before I grumpily stormed out the building after the final whistle
Glad to hear the boo's just hope the majority of the players don't think they are all aimed at them, to the guy who shouted that they were aimed at Todd I applaud you, and to the woman who said its not his fault, you are as deluded as he is!
If last nights game wasn't a wake up call for all the Dutes lovers then what will be? Sitting with your head in your hands after the 3rd or 4th goal went in and staying sat down for the remainder of the game, is this the signs of a good coach? no wonder the players looked gutted, I will admit there wasn't much to applaud last night but thats obviously the style of hockey thats been asked of them. Thanks for the loyalty Todd but time to move on, give him a fancy new title, retire his number and move on! I would welcome any other coach than him right now, with Danny being at the bottom of my list
The Owners/directors also need to take a good long hard look at the organisation, they have let this club get into the hole that its been stuck in for years! Couldn't agree more that the whole organisation reeks of cheapness! MAJOR changes are needed at FIA players/coaches/youth and even the building and running of the team/place. We could all sit on here for hours picking the faults within the Flyers. For me, for the current team to move forward we need a coaching overhaul and bring in someone that will motivate the team, boot their backsides when not performing and someone who brings a bit more charisma to the whole team. Also a coach who will/wants heavily invest in the youth development! Guys behind the scenes have got to give any new coach that comes in a bit more reign that what Todd has been given. Truth of it is Flyers are stuck in the 90's. We simply cannot compete in this league with our current mixture of coaching & players
Our imports are a great bunch of players, they need proper guidance though and proper coaching! The system that Todd is trying to run is an utter joke, its as outdated as he is. We can argue till were blue in the face about Broony, had a good couple of saves last night but player quite poor, our D looked very exposed last night and our passing was just woeful. Guys were obi getting frustrated but our coach wasn't doing anything to try and motivate the team
I will continue to go to the games since i've already payed for my season ticket and because I support the team, i will however continue to voice my opinion at the games and encourage others to do also

As expected, defiant message from Todd in the FFP article. He seems to forget the losses very quickly and only remembers that winning streak. I also find it arrogant that he continues to take credit for it, I always felt that the players turned it around by gaining confidence and playing their style of hockey i.e. despite Todd and not because of him. Tgat turnaround can only be credited to kevin regan and Kevin regan alone. He stood up in the room and LOST it with the team. Slated them for drinking and partying all the time. That's when the streak started

Are season tickets refundable? I'm sick of watching Todds fantastic systems week in week out. His interview with Ali tonight is just laughable aswell, blaming the players (the same players that he and Danny brought in). All fans who's heads are not up Todds **** can see right through his *****.

I don't and won't profess to know a lot about ice hockey or whether a coaches tactics are good, bad or indifferent. I do however have the ability to read and suffer as a fan. I too am going to call for the coaches head, how long can his jacket cling on to the shoogily nail whilst he drinks in the last chance saloon? Our 5th season in the EIHL, every year scraping (except season one) and fighting for a play-off spot. My ambitions are greater. A few good results and weekends, only one good run of form in 4 seasons, a cracker though it was, but this looks increasingly like a freak episode. No apparent link with a fairly successful potential feeder team, who play in the same building, and whose players have seen the light and chase their dream by joining rival teams in the EIHL. We continue to sign a Brit core who get little or no ice-time (though arguably that has changed this season) Seems to me we see things in the first couple of weeks from the players we sign every year, then it vanishes, I don't know if thats the mythical systems Fife play or the reality of 2 games a weekend that causes players to adjust their style. I'm sick, utterly sick of this situation, i wish i had faith that Todd could turn this around if he was given a few weeks more, however I don't. Theres no atmosphere at the games anymore, the DJ is nauseous, theres almost nothing to get excited about or look forward too. What is going to convince me to keep making the 75 mile roundtrip rather than watch NHL Gamecentre on a Saturday and Sunday night? Changes have been made and the club and the owners deserve credit for what has been achieved, it's easy for fans to demand faster change but it's not us balancing the books and finding the finance. However, without a decent product on the ice it's all wasted. Better product on ice, more fans. More fans makes sponsorship more attractive. More sponsorship and business becomes involved, the feel good factor is back in the whole area and more people want to come along. The fans are there, we've seen that in the attendances. "Results based" isn't reserved for players and coaches, fans and sponsors look at results too and act accordingly. We need an inspiring face for the flyers, we need a coach who clearly knows what he's doing and can improve our position within the league as well as develop the local talent into the top team, we need a plan and vision for the future of our club, the club needs an overhaul from top to bottom, with more transparency (not complete transparency), we need a fans voice speaking directly to the owners, not to hold them to ransome but to let them hear our concerns and ideas, we need to sack the DJ and stuff the budgie (or stuff the DJ and sack the budgie if you prefer), actually no, perhaps the feedback to the directors would be a detailed debrief on what the DJ does and doesn't do well and how he can improve, that would be fair. (although how many years has he been saying "make some noise" without there being much response) And I need the euromillions jackpot numbers for the next quadruple rollover, then we might see changes, or maybe Tryst Thunder will become more than a dream

Its clear for everyone to see how badly things are and to me have been this way for a hell of a long time. Todd simply digs his heels in and wont budge on any of this never has never will. Its clear we are outcoached every game as other teams deploy systems to counteract ours, Finnerty has already said it this season "we know how Todd sets his team up so we know how to play against them". As for developing our juniors I have said it many times before we should have started that 5 years ago, we are so badly broken as a club between the flyers and KIHC its unbelievable. Ask him who he sees as our top 5 prospects from KIHC I bet he would struggle to come up with any names. Its just painful watching these new guys work there butts off yet they are being forced to play this apparent system. On Saturday we played with 2 wingers pushed high up the wings while the defence broke out with the puck. Dundee were playing a version of the trap and sitting back, it meant we had 2 guys standing still and out of the play as we attempted to enter the zone. End result we dump it but have nobody charging in the opposite wing to hunt down the puck. It stinks of forcing guys to play a system that they clearly cant play rather than flexing or using a different system to suit the players you have. Finchy's post earlier about American sportsmen not taking kindly to criticism is spot on. Every single interview Todd has thrown them under the bus yet he is adamant that his system works (his interview following last nights shocker is hard to listen to without shaking your head in disbelief). Seriously its over with this guy he has the full squad that he kept going on about and the hockey he has them playing is garbage yet he takes no responsibility for any of this. As good as he might have been as a player that was 10 years ago (he was anything but good in the EIHL) the time for change has been here for a while. He should have been replaced in the summer, now its critical for any chance of recovering this season that he is removed as head coach.

Agree with Nobobody.
I have simple expectations of the Flyers and dont think they are unrealistic.
-a team that punches it's weight in terms of the size of club we are and entertainment on the ice. -a match-night experience that doesnt have me constantly cringeing (raffle winners being announced over the tannoy near the end of the game on Saturday??!) -decent use of social media and a web-site that contains articles that dont make your toes curl at the horrific quality. -to have match HIGHLIGHTS of a similar quality to the rest of the league.
I'm sure Tom Muir didnt become succesful in business by accepting mediocrity throughout his firm and not sure why Flyers should be any different.

Seem to recall to the "DJ" trying to start a sweet caroline singing when Manchester Storm skated out for the first time. The Dj is an absolute nob and I can think of hundreds of cringey things he's done. The worst being shouting "holey moley" when the plexi smashed once. Whoever manages the social media side hasn't got a clue either and needs their login taken away promptly. The club is full of hanger on weirdos that they need to get shot of. DJ Ali with his awful line of questions on Flyers TV. I'm sure there is someone a lot more qualified than him he's awful. Which he showcases pretty well during chuck a puck with his creepy "I'm Ready" shout.

Aye, the strange use of the hyphen and the missing 's' in 'reassess' is probably not the most appropriate blunder to make in the current climate! We don't need to 're-asses' anyway- just stick to the systems!! ;-)

Just amazing, fans booing during games, crowds dropping, social media going nuts and our local press calling for change and this is the PR drivel (released in the middle of the night??)that the club puts out. Just mind but your tickets for the weekend!!
Whoever wrote that tweet needs the stupid slapped out of them.

That tweet is just dreadful.
Or should I say tht twet is just dreefull.
This point marks the lowest point for me in our time in the Elite League. The owners of the club need to take a long hard look at the whole running of the club, every aspect, from top to bottom because basically I think that we suck.
Problem for me is I'm a Flyers fan always have been always will be, this is my team, I want better.
