Has anyone one here ever approached fife about helping out in anyway? Has anyone ever been given a reply about them offering to help?

They are not interested in help from anyone, as the clique that run the club and all things associated in the background don't want anyone interfering. It's a case of it's my ball and no one else is getting to play with it. There are certain individuals within the club that has far too much say in what goes on and how it's run.

Heard this from a few different sources! I had loads of ideas and thoughts on different ways of doing things during the off season that I'd fully intended on pitching to the club. But tbh not gonna put the effort into doing proper background research, developing and presenting them if it's going to be ignored anyway. Health is c*** so got many better uses of my limited energy than talking to a brick wall. Seems if you're not in the in club then it falls on deaf ears, which is ridiculous given the current state or affairs.

Thanks folks. Its a shame they arent open too passionate ppl wanting go help, but if you dont fit in then that wont ever change.
Its a shame some ppl are not willing to let new faces and ideas into help after all its always volunteers who are trying to do stuff, more volunteers would mean more exposure. No?
Is it one person who is blocking new volunteers?

I've offered help but wasn't needed. The type of help that is required is limited only to match nights selling tickets.
I've a bit if sympathy with this stance. The owners obviously put in a lot of time, money and effort into the Flyers. Whatever your view is on how those commodities are channelled the Flyers doesn't just happen. As Marky says - it's their ball. Why should they let unknown folk in to do untested work?
Equally it is wrong that people such as Perfectnightmare can't give their time and ideas. It is clear they are needed and could transform the club. There is massive potential here.
Something has to give but I am not sure what will. The FFP has gone back to the biscuit tin after a rebellious 2 mins on twitter. The club wont open the doors......
That just leaves the fans. What can we do? I've said before about how fans groups are pretty much bailing out Raith Rovers. Dunfermline Athletic more so.
The owners will want fans to prove their worth first and build trust before being welcomed in, but this wall is forcing everyone away.
We are at rock bottom. The beauty of that is, that's when you are most needed. Perfectnightmare and everyone else - please keep trying.

I think what I'll do when I've less on my plate is type up a letter and send it FAO the owners. Will offer my help and if they're willing to at least listen, then I'm happy to put a bit of work in to presenting them all in a more in depth way, with actual research to back it up. Can see across all social media platforms the help and ideas are there, but the club have to allow people in or their stubbornness will be the end of them as more fans drift away. Not saying don't rely on volunteers to help with match night stuff, but there's no way this is enough when you compare the end package to other clubs around the league. It wouldn't take much to make a huge difference, and a small change might be all that's needed to get folk interested and involved again

Trouble is most fans offering help are well meaning amateurs..it's the ones with qualifications and skills in certain areas that are needed to replace the embedded clique of "volunteers" that are empire building at the moment so they can feel important.

I know that Craig Anderson has offered his assistance in promoting Flyers.....yes he is a Clan man but is also a hockey fan, the stuff that comes out form Clan is 100 times better than us....anyway he has made it public on twitter he wants to help and still has left the offer open.
What I found interesting was whe he had posted about his offer ...it was shot down by Ali the Kingdom FM guy who does everything ...yes he does a lot for us at Fife but by his response is it him who is at the helm of promoting/PR and is infact holding us back by not allowing help. Would not normally think that of him as he does lots of great work for Flyers but that refusal he put to Craig on twitter has me thinking he is also part of the problem.

Certain people in certain positions at Fife have been there too long and it had there way, it's wrong and now in this day and age it's hurting the club

What Ali knows about ice-hockey could be written on the back of a stamp and another add on who will not say Boo in case he loses his place, like others in the fold. I heard at a voluteers meeting how slick those helpers think their input is ........ well the reality slicksters is there are around 2000 empty seats most games with that direction going one way. The Great Night out is no longer on offer, hockey is surviving by the efforts of a hard core at the moment which could take a serious dunt come Sunday night........hopefully not.

Anyone offering to help would be better waiting until the hocus pocus (there is a clue to who the problem is) lot are no longer there! Ali is just falling into the other individuals brackets - it's my baw, if i'm not involved i am going in the huff as I have to be centre of attention! The club will continue to lose good people and the place will continue to be a sh*t show until the owners are actually told what is actually happening behind the scenes!
