Correct. It certainly seems like Jack genuinely knows nothing about all these morons turning people away. Jack is a total gentleman and loves the club and would genuinely listen to ideas put to him. Maybe that's why others try to circumvent him so as he doesn't spoil their wee power base.

It was Jack@fifeflyers I sent it to. Would urge anyone else who's sent offers of help to resend them direct to him and highlight what channel you originally used. It may well be there's a theme behind who's not passing these things on, and only way of making them aware is giving them proof it's happening

Nope nowt here. If I haven't heard by the end of the season I'll email him again. Nog willing to have the off season be the same old same old when there's plenty willing to do something about it.

Really hoped this Q&A would spark something within the organisation. Changes need to be made a last month so that going into the off season the club are ready to go. Going to be playing catch up again as usual this off season.

They may be dont need help just now. A wee look at the top of their twitter page says different though. I think this ‘offer us help’ thing is so back to front. The whole operation needs a re-vamp and the club should be specifying exactly what they need and getting the best people available to work within an organised structure. Social media and PR (for team matters) has been an unmitigated disaster since the beginning for instance. They should simply be thanking those who failed to make this work for their efforts and advertising for someone who can make it work and picking the best available option. It must be harder to get out the inner circle than get in it. If people genuinely cared about the club they’d stand aside if there were better options.

This is the biggest disappointment to come out of the Q&A. The directors should have sat down with current staff and volunteers before hand and asked what do we need to improve, then came with some sort of idea of how they want it to progress. Can tell they just showed up on the night with little thought put in. But now they need to start answering emails with offers of help and not wait until July to say ok we are ready to start now.

There seems little desire to improve PR or the team’s social media profile. For example this week there was a question on Facebook about whether anyone knew if there was an awards night this year and to date there is no reply. If there was anyone interested in the social media side of the club and was monitoring Facebook Twitter etc then that question could have been easily answered, even if a decision had still to be made. Instead it looks like another fan has been ignored. And as a matter of interest does anyone know if there will be an awards night this year?

I get that TD doesn’t always come across as a sparkling interviewee, but reckon that there are others far more to blame for the PR shambles than he is.

Unless Todd is also the pr and media manager (which he isn't), it's surely got f all to do with him. There are definitely others doing more harm in that respect.

I'd guess it has nothing to do with TD and if it does, it shouldn't. Appears there are others in the organisation to blame before him. Was there not somebody fairly recently appointed "media manager?"

Was there not somebody fairly recently appointed "media manager?" Aye, and that person was then sent to the pride event as a "representative of the club", instead of a player/coach/owner. Another odd decision, and tbh a bit of an insult to the event and to the LGBTQ+ members of the hockey community.
