And the point is Dundee have been in the league 1 year linger than us and have managed a top 4 f8nish in the league, clan have had 4 top 4 finishes and at least top 5 on 2 or 3 occasions, but us can't get above 6th no matter what we do, so is it poor tactics or poor recruitment or both Flyers have finished above Dundee 4 of the last 5 seasons (we won't know about this season) ..Dundee have failed to make the playoffs since Pacha became coach..how can you use Dundee as some team that recruits better Todd often says in his interviews that your only as good as your last game. Dundee were better than us in every department last season, we were going to end up rock bottom. Absolute dross with zero entertainment, don't think it can be glossed up any other way.

Another favourite saying of his is "we're in a results based business". So what results does he have? Back where he started as far as I can see! Why is he back in business?

Both of them should be charged by the the trading standards for both claiming to be coaches and taking money under false pretences over the years we have been in the league he has learned absolutely nothing on how to build a team to compete in this league

TD even under estimates the crowd far less the league. For the life of me i cannot understand why TM explains the rink requires 1700 bodies to pay for The Great Night Out yet accepts that the two coaches have reduce the crowd by 1000 and to rub salt in the wound has them back for another season ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

Maybe the management realise that the budget they give them can only result in this standard.

Maybe if there wasn't 2000 empty seats they would have more money, there has been over 1000 fans lost in the last season alone and that is down to the two coaches .....NO QUESTION....it's not defendable (in my opinion i stress), if it was my business they would have been gone long ago and i'm pretty sure their career at EIHL level would be over.

I might be classed as controversial... but surely the fact there are "2000" empty seats is more to do with the players on the ice rather than the coaches... yes the coaches influence the style of play, but if the coaches had better players on the ice... more entertainers... an enforcer... someone who lit up the rink... then I don't think there would be that many empty seats... if last season the Flyers had "the Matt Nickerson who first came to our shores" in our team... I guarantee the barn would have been packed...

For me at the moment October seems a bit early, will people really want to mingle in an enclosed space with 8,000 others when it's doubtful there will be a vaccine available and there will still be a risk of people carrying the virus and others being infected.
If it's derby days it'll be us v Dundee I would think.

I can't see it happening and the other thing for me is this a way of the Nottingham area not having to give everyone there money back just transfer your playoff tickets to this and then you have the fact if it does happen and people go and pay for it then having to pay for the playoffs and of next season as well that's a lot money

Also you would likely have to book accommodation or pay for travel arrangements and then there's a good chance it will once again be cancelled and you have the hassle of claiming refunds.. etc.
I wouldn't be bothered with arranging anything as it's unlikely any hockey is going to be played anytime soon, especially in Scotland, if ministers comments regarding the football season are anything to go by.
I suppose the only benefit being a flyers fan at the moment is that once the rink does re-open, on match nights, 2 meters can easily be left between each supporter in the building. One thing TD has done well in ensuring.

It’s true about bowns , contract was signed over month ago. Surely cardiff will bring in a cracker of an import netty.
