I have to have this rant, this weekend has been an utter disgrace getting beat 4-2 from Dundee was bad especially when the fans turned up in their numbers, no urgency no commitment and always second to the puck. We now find ourselves in no better place than we have been in years, how long do we keep up with this absolute nonsense we call coaches, I witnessed Todd yawning and rubbing his eyes 3 times on tonight stream against Sheffield he couldn't care less as long as he is getting a paycheck, Jeff stands about like a cardboard cut out, no emotion, no drive absolutely nothing, speaking of Sheffield that game was abysmal, hausinger is absolutely brutal let's everyone walk by him or coughs up the puck whenever someone is within 50 metres of him, looking at this seasons record so far we are already in a bad place, absolute garbage flyers, we shouldn't be in this league

I agree on coaches, I agree on certain individuals but you have to remember that last night was a one goal game realistically and tonight was against arguably the best team in the league. It’sa good squad, need a few tweaks but I think they’ll come good

Flyers will never compete against the big teams. There is a massive gap due to revenue etc. The best we can hope for is about mid table on a good year.

It doesn't matter if last night was realistically a one goal it's still a loss.and we can't keep blaming the refs or bad bounces the refs have always been bad for our defeats.i have said it for ages Tweedle dum and Tweedle Dee are only interested in picking up there easy money every week.they are robbing the hard working flyers fans every week who turn up and the least the fans can expect is committment effort for the whole 60 minutes not just when they feel like it

Ok we don't have the same financial clout but that doesn't stop commitment effort physical play from the players for the whole 60 minutes

Ok we don't have the same financial clout but that doesn't stop commitment effort physical play from the players for the whole 60 minutes Just watched the goals from Sheffield game. The defending was brutal for most of the goals. Coughing the puck up on Sheffield blue line, not tracking back and not physically engaging with players driving the net. These are basic plays that our juniors know about!

Have to agree, we’ve got the tallest team in the league but don’t have nearly enough presence or physicality. That’s down to the coaches instruction like every other season

Yes I was and you can sugar coat it as much as you like but it's still another loss .if I put in as little effort as some of our imports for what they are getting paid I wouldn't be in a job but if your happy to except that then more fool you

I am honestly shocked at some folks reading of Saturday night. I don't get it. I agree our D are nowhere near physical enough and have said this since 1st game, this is not coached this is the type of player they are, but overall the compete level was good on Saturday. I agree Hausinger looks just about ok but not really good enough, Sherbinin looks a bit better got turned inside out by Suanche for the penalty shot, Harsh looks ok too, no one is outstanding. Our forwards actually put a power of work in, but despite outshooting Dundee couldn't score, and they are quite physical, we have no real depth with lack of Brits. Sunday type games have always happened for Flyers even when we have had a competitive team I didn't watch it. And I agree the coaches have long over stayed their welcome. But I think this team with hopefully a new d man could be in play offs, with what realistically is most likely a small budget. The fans that stayed back on Saturday to clap the team off certainly seemed to appreciate the effort and folk I spoke to who have been going for decades thought we were unlucky.

I thought Emmerdahl actually played a big physical game on Saturday night, thought he played hard for the C on his shirt! He was my shout for MOM As for the Brits, Cochrane got regular shifts both games, Page got couple of shifts both Saturday and Sunday however Spence sat both games? Bari got a few shifts on Saturday then played in D on Sunday? Weird! The effort level on Saturday was there, the way that puck turned up on its end and curled into the net for the ENG was unbelievable! Then the penalty shot? Same happened at our end but only a 2 mins call on Dundee. Actually thought it was a 2-2 game in all fairness. Sunday was OK til the 3rd period, then the wheels fell off and tiredness became a factor.

where is the much needed last d man. Fernholm is apparently away home to Sweden, he was signed knowing he had concussion issues, and that hasn't improved, so they have known for weeks now we need another import d. Reece is not on every shift so basically the remaining imports are getting grossly overplayed. To expect all of the imports to play the amount they do and not to have periods where they are not on it is unrealistic. Why can't they get more Brits in, how can Dundee and Manchester do it. Has Dutes forgotten the boys he played when they joined the league, that would have struggled in Kestrels, yet they coached and improved them and played them? These are the real issues, that stop Fife moving forward.

My opinion would be the much needed D man was put on hold due to winning a few games last week and they maybe thought they didnt need him, more money, flights, visas etc As to why they cant get more Brits where would they come from? Are there any in Scotland? Not sure they would pay accommodation etc to any Brits from further South depending on their caliber. Dundee have 6 Brits in there line up 4 of which live in Dundee. Who in the Kestrels / Junior Development could make the step up?

The only Kestrel who is capable is Scott Jamieson, and Flyers treated him poorly so he won't be back, and will more than likely try to go down south next season. The best defence man at that level is Tommy Muir, so no chance there. Reece Kelly came home and went down south and laughed at the possibility of being at Flyers. In the SNL the only stand out players to any extent are at Dundee, Murray field have Chad Smith but he's not doing anything great, although would be capable of shifts to allow imports a break. So it would mean trying down south or even Solway, where there is a Fife connection with Martin Grubb. Scott Henderson in that team is a great player, good size, and hardly gets a look in at Glasgow despite the 2 way, Callum Boyd is decent too. Flyers never think outside the box, and have a history of not playing Brits that have put loads off.
