Flyers welcome Clan to the Auld Barn for League business. Flyers won the last game at the shops with 58 seconds left in regulation time. That stung the Clan but they then went on a 3 game winning streak This is a big game for both teams Get your seat booked for this one

Coming through for this one. Looking forward to another close competitive game. We are a team improving week on week but will need to be at our best to take anything.

No number 24 on gamesheet, Flyers icing only 8 forwards again, how much did last night's game and the travelling back through the night take out the team.

What a contrast to last night! Deservedly 2-0 down. Can’t see anyway back for us, no gas left in the tank.

Absolute dire game, clan deserved the W, we are just absolutely brutal these away wins are masking the deadbeat team we have hausinger needs to go, like bambi on ice, Todd is useless behind that bench and Jeff's tactics are old and boring. Dead

Why do they always seem to save their best performances for away games? Fans turn up for the home game but the team doesn't turn up?

Losing Sandstorm early in first and no Kivilathi after a few shifts didnt help matter We got caught sleeping at start of second Then huge mistake Cochrane turning over the puck Good fight back though If that’s the best Clan can do against a banged up team on their second night after being at Nottingham Another few minutes we would have forced OT Hard fought battle and good to see the rink filled up tonight Rivalry still there

Didn't see Laakkonen on in last 5 minutes or so. Did he pick up an injury or was it tactical? He avoids the physical side of the game but at his age who can blame him!

Pretty even first period played at a decent pace. Kivilahti started but looked a long way from being fit and didn’t appear for the second. Sandstrom off injured five minutes in, but Flyers playing ok. 0-0 at the end of the first.
The second period started with Flyers getting the runaround from Clan with Roy scoring in the first minute from a couple of feet out. Thought Flyers were starting to find their feet when Clan made it two about half way through the period after a bad giveaway at our blue line. Phillips unlucky with one that hit the bar but Clan well worth the 2-0 lead.
The third was slightly better from Flyers and pulled one back through Sherbinin, but Roy made it 1-3 with a goal that seemed to hit him and go in. A late push saw makeshift winger a Hausinger get Flyers one back with 25 seconds to go but the late push wasn’t enough.
Flyers missed Kivilahti and when Sandstrom went off hurt things were even tougher. Looked like a Laakkonen didn’t finish the game either. I thought that a time out early maybe five minutes into the second might have helped settle things down as Clan were all over us. Not sure why Page sits the whole game when the team is short handed to start with and then lose two players to injury in the first 20 minutes, but what do I know.
