Think its the first time EVER I have seen someone in the stands with a COACHES OUT banner as well! Until security took in down and chucked it in the bin. š

How about this The two coaches are Flyers guys The ownership are loyal So with things being the way they are these days You canāt say thereās 30 folk on a forum wanting rid of you plus many others, so goodbye How about when the season finishes Send Jeff on a coaching course with NHL or affiliations Send Todd down the road to Todd Kellman and keep him there for 2 months Keep Todd D off the bench and concentrate on selling seats and match night experience, community work and Sponsorship get out and sell the club. He wonāt improve driving golf trolleys or taxis Has to be a way

No, no, no and no. Todd and Tam have had 12 years in the EIHL, Jeff 7 years in to do something different, or otherwise shake things up to see what happens. Thatās an unprecedented amount of time and patience afforded to them in professional team sports, and itās been utterly wasted. They either cannot or will not do so. Irrespective of which, failing to do so means itās well past time for them to go. They should go now so successors can come in before seasons end, make an assessment of things, and get the absolute most out of the summer, but none of that is going to happen. Itās going to be the same drab off-season, āteasedā about who the coaching team will be, then the same double act will get renewed as usual, rinse/repeat once more, and weāll be talking about the same old stuff yet again.

Will it be the final nail in the coffin if we lose this weekend and go bottom once again?

Will it be the final nail in the coffin if we lose this weekend and go bottom once again? Unfortunately it wonāt make one bit of difference. Fife Ice Arena, where mediocrity is rewarded with a job for life!

And they have no self respect in themselves to walk away because they know they are on to much off a good thing.basically it's money for old rope to them getting paid for doing nothing they aren't interested in the flyers only in lining there own pockets with the money hard working flyers fans have either paid through buying season tickets or paying at the door every week

I hear what your saying zamboni but I'm firmly in the fresh start camp, these guys have had more than long enough to get something right in this league, they're both elder statesmen of the league and should know what the demands of the league are and what type of player is required but it appears that they don't or don't have the skills to coach and manage the players they do sign.
Enough is enough I say, fresh face, fresh start is needed, oh and I also hold them culpable for the near complete eradication of any home based talent making it through the ranks to the Flyers.

Will it be the final nail in the coffin if we lose this weekend and go bottom once again? There's that many nails in the coffin it'll be hard to find space to get another one in!

Will it be the final nail in the coffin if we lose this weekend and go bottom once again? Iām hoping not. Will be my first trip to fia this year. Hoping for a decent attempt against a woeful Glasgow outfit. They bring a good crowd so at least there will be noise. And no webcast might tempt people back. Saying that. If people do go, and they get again let us down at home, for many it will be the last game they watch this season.

Chris Lawrence obviously coached in Oz, granted itās a much lesser level but it would appear to be something heās interested in and captained Dundee so obviously likes the leadership role. Hutchy as bench coach perhaps assisted by Lawrence as player coach until at least end of season and see how that works out, is that an option?

IMO I think Chris Lawrence should be one of the guys heading out the door not into a coaching role. Certainly not at fife anyways.

Would rather get taxis for hutch and the donkey. Fresh start is what I feel we need. A new face in fife, one not tainted by the attitudes of the last ten years. That or get Danny up from Coventry (fat chance)

Someone on another thread mentioned Martin Grubb, not a bad call actually. Wont need accommodation / flights / visa / car etc - all the things that make it a better option (less cash output for the directors) With a player assistant coach and it would certainly shake things up. Actually then saving one wage! Local lad who I am sure would do a great job.

And the thing with spud is, that when he was bench coach in the flyers SNL days he ran most the sessions he knows Dutes and Muir, so seamless transition for the GM to go upstairs but have a link to the coaching team to help them with what they want. All a wing and a prayer this though!!! Such a pity.
