Why do our coaches keep working for him

Because if they don’t they have no place to go in elite league hockey. Even Clan wouldn’t take either of them just now. They would need to drop down to juniors to stay involved in the sport. Muir and Wishart keep them because they have no clue how and where to start looking for a new coach. It’s a toxic relationship that both parties seem happy to live with

Because their job is safe with him ...he doesn't care about the shambles he has got the club into ..no other coach with integrity would work for the current management

Major difference the Muir they worked under wanted what was best for the FIA and getting the public through the door he would never have tolerated what is going on now.if results weren't going well that coach was gone plumb being a prime example when he came back just as a coach.kanewischer came when they got relegated brought in Frank Morris Richard laplante and cal brown

Milan Figala. Chic Cottrell. Probably missed a few others.

The last coach who came in and didn't cut it was when Plumb came back, they moved quick to put Mo in as player coach. Prior to that Figala left after the Autumn cup in the relegation season. But this was different ownership. They didn't wait for crowds to dwindle and made changes. Flyers were also a team that took chances, paying good money to likes of D King back up the road, bringing in the Czechs twice, and going for likes of Smail. In the Elite they have went for slow and steady peaking in winning conference then steady downhill, refusing to give anything different a go apart from having nickerson. I would like to see someone like Martin Grubb given a chance he is in the GB system, and does well with Solway playing good hockey, knows how to develop juniors. Richard Hartman another good coach, has been in GB and Scotland set up and I think previous bench experience with Clan after Caps. So there are cheaper options out there for this risk averse ownership.

I remember last season Neil Abel saying on another forum that he would be interested in the job. I wonder if he still is.
