What an utter farce.
Agree with the call for major changes. Sick of spending money to watch dull hockey with no commitment.
Emerdahl is shocking as a captain. Since he arrived we have been locked in a battle for wooden spoons. Stop pretending these rank rotten imports are passable. They may well be nice people, but they are all sub par at best.
I’ve had my fill of watching the decay at fife these last few years. Change is needed now to save the club. They won’t be getting a penny from me until they do. I’ve traveled all over the uk to support them, but this season is my last, unless drastic changes happen. Which won’t it seems.
It’s laughable that the happy clappers are suggesting we can hold an awards night - what for? Best handicaps on the greens? Most pints sank in one night? Most tinder hook ups.
Fed up and fkxuck off. You played 2 good games against a struggling steelers who’s wheels were falling off at the time - to make a cup final that your got humiliated in. Pathetic if you try present that as “success”

Zamboni I have said for ages I can't understand why a business man like Muir who has been involved for forever with the FIA and has seen what can be achieved with the right product on the ice keeps persisting with this garbage. I'm sure you have been going long enough to remember when if you didn't have a ticket you didn't get in and they were sitting on the stairs and every team used to hate playing at the FIA

You will all go watch them week in week out, it's your money you are wasting, the club don't care, they are counting through money on the way to the bank. You all have plenty to say on this but don't do anything about it The thing is it’s in our DNA it’s our team and would love to go back to the days like they have on the Pre-game charting some of the success stories It will change 1 day that’s for sure Look at Matt Ginn he has done well this season and crowds backing him

I do indeed. It’s what causes the frustrations. I know it’s not the 90s anymore. I know the fife junior talent it’s what it once was. But this club should be able to attract top British talent with his history. Yet for the last 10 years we have let kids rot on the bench or leave for better ice time at rivals. I know we don’t have the raw British talent - but how could we even know when these guys are given 30 seconds ice time at the end of games. No one is sitting on the bench for 2 hours then able to join a game for one shift and make an impact.
If we had pushed out brits more this year and ended up in this position, I’m sure people wouldn’t be happy - but at least it would feel like we are building toward something. Having 5-6 brits who can handle ice time on a 3rd/4th line give us depth we have been sorely lacking. Reece aside (and even then - they have benched him before for the same mistakes the imports make every week without punishment.) Would really like to know what some of the ex brits from the last 10 years honestly think about fifes coaching staff.
And yea. I know the snl is terrible and light speed different to elite league - but there is are plenty of potential in teams down south. How will we ever know what the brits are capable of without playing them.
Coaching and management has to change. I really will be out of words if we see some “exciting news” about returning imports next year. They have collectively proven this year they are amongst the worst teams in elite league history. Why keep any of them.

I take my dad to all the games and to rob him of seeing the flyers is a horrible thought. But even he has had enough of this sh—te. The notion of the team folding would be heartbreaking. I am a real fan and love the team. But I (like lots of others I’m sure) are in a rock and a hard place. But this season feels like breaking point for us.

Horrendous result for the team. We have ability within the dressing room there is no doubt about it but our execution was woeful. Shane had a really poor game last night but those nights are the exception for him it’s just a shame it came last night.
Regarding the physicality Kivi might have thrown the first punch (gloved) but what happened thereafter should not have been tolerated. To let our best player be served up by their tough guy is ridiculous. Credit to Harsch for getting in there but it should have gone off after that especially with his antics posing around as though he’s the heavyweight champ when he beat a non-fighter.
If Dyson is back in the league next year at Clan and we have signed a tough guy you play that footage and I guarantee Dyson would have to answer for those actions. Should be a long memory when it comes to that.
Hope Kivi recovers quickly as that looked a nasty cut.

You guys really need fresh blood in the coaching area, it’s too stale. Our players really should just be in refs kit, then at least Todd will be speaking to them all night.

I think people go to the hockey for all different reasons, one thing is for sure that it's not those who go who are to blame for flyers current issues. For me the first to blame are the owners for employing the same old and having no ambition. 2nd at fault are the coaches for all the reasons folk have already mentioned. That's it. Players are who they are, certainly not good enough but again it's not their fault. So to those who continuously call people happy clappers or question why they go, think you need to channel your frustration at the two big problems. I think we would all like Flyers to be successful, but the fans and players have the least influence in it, as we have seen for the last 3 seasons.

Sorry but the fans have the biggest influence just look at football fans and how many mangers they get sacked by letting the owners know how they feel.also as long as they are willing to buy season tickets and turn up every week Muir won't give a toss about what happens

I kinda feel Muir and Wishart need to be cut some slack this season. (I know I can’t believe I’m saying that either). They have allowed the team to make changes and carry spares, extra expense whilst knowing crowds are down. All it has done has proven Todd and Jeff are not up to the job. They have literally been found out. No excuses of we weren’t allowed we to carry spares or make changes etc etc. Their playoffs are non negotiable is dead in the water( why would we want to get hammered by Belfast twice again). The final was a fluke and shouldn’t be in anyways held as a coaches success. Time for them to go. No ifs nor buts.

If they stick with everything as it is they can have no excuses if the crowds drop further next year. Everyone can see we need changes its just become stale. Its no swipe at what people have done in the past but its life you need change sometimes and we are in desperate need of it.

Exactly it’s now firmly at their door, what direction do they want to take? Same old same old or for once give something different a try. Or if neither pass it on to someone who can inject some life into the club. Most of the volly staff need to go also. Get proper people in who can do the job ie paid to do it properly. Get rid of the cliques that hold things back. Get rid of the “it’s the fife way”. We need to move forward or we die in this sorry state that we are in.

We are crying out for an Omar Pacha to come in and revamp us on and off the ice. He showed at Dundee you can be competitive and grow the product on a budget. What we need is enthusiasm and drive. Todd has been a legend for the club no doubt about it but we need a change.
