Good for us that Curran is now with us and likely to be further along fitness wise than most. Bet he must be a bit miffed though considering boys like Lachowicz, Duggan, Shudra, Davies, Betteridge have been chosen in front of him, for me Curran is far better than at least one of these players?

Size and physicality aren't as big an issue today as they used to be. It's all about speed, puck possession and a high tempo and Coolen has built a team with all that in mind I honestly think this is one of the most exciting teams that has been put together for years We wanted an upgrade on D and I believe that we have done that and I honestly wouldn't know who to leave out from that group and hopefully Coolen is true to his word and gives Kay more opportunities, I have no reason to doubt him Forward wise it looks as if we will have someone in Martineau who I think will be on a third line but has better Uni stats than Lajuenesse and again depending on who our last forward signing is, I don't know who would be left out. I like the balance, we have experience in spades with proven winners throughout the team. I think we have skill, speed and scoring in abundance on all of our potential lines and more scoring from our D than we have had in years Yes we lack depth, we always have, but we have managed to be successful despite that and we don't know if there is anything in the pipeline to resolve this Only time will tell, let's revisit our theories after they've hit the ice As pointed out months ago, we lack size, Foss helps with that, Coach wants another forward with size in

Listening to Toms podcast tonight, looks like we will barely see him…. Bolster the squad for southern trips and wording like…. Get yourself up here to train… kind of sums up flyers appetite for being serious about getting British bodies in the line up….

I wonder who will be next, he isn’t the only Unhappy camper. His frustrations were clear to see in Belfast.
A clear indicator of things are not right and again flyers need a proper shake up.
Who was the last player to leave of their own accord?

Hate to say it, but it looks like Coolen is the problem. Lot's of runours last season about the players not liking him or his coaching style. And here we are going through a similar scenario again this season.

Martin Latal has left. Can see he wasn't happy here. Hes more likely to be unhappy with his own performances Not because he didnt get a hot meal The team started to unravel when he came in from injury We will be paying top dollar for him So never great when it dosent work out for a player The other players that left last year two of them weren't performing to expectation either This is a blow and losing Curran not great either But a few folks in stands were saying not much return out Latal Like all walks of life a high end replacement will come in .

Where do we find a “high end” replacement in November. Who wants to jump onto a sinking ship? Is the end nigh for elite hockey in fife? Is certainly is worrying times
