Hes more likely to be unhappy with his own performances Not because he didnt get a hot meal The team started to unravel when he came in from injury We will be paying top dollar for him So never great when it dosent work out for a player The other players that left last year two of them weren't performing to expectation either This is a blow and losing Curran not great either But a few folks in stands were saying not much return out Latal Like all walks of life a high end replacement will come in . Where do we find a “high end” replacement in November. Who wants to jump onto a sinking ship? Is the end nigh for elite hockey in fife? Is certainly is worrying times We have just signed replacement www.eliteprospects.com/player/197266/massimo-carozza

Coolans an old style coach. He’s the boss and his way goes. Society these days panders to folk that get offended by hurty words or the truth. I can imagine Collan saying to him that he’s the highest paid player in the squad and he’s had one assist so needs to start putting points up which you can’t argue with. I know for a fact that some imports these days can’t take that. Nobodies bigger than the mighty Fife ! Scotlands biggest team ! 😜

Impressed that we managed to get a replacement in so quickly, and Carozza looks decent. any idea of Latal leaving voluntarily uses up one of our replacement slots?

Well it has been obvious that we gave Latal his 2 weeks notice which has given us the time to find this replacement and bring him in seamlessly and not be short of players.
From what I remember of Carozza he looked really good and sees the ice really well. It's a really good addition I think.

Would think Carozza is the forward Tom was siging a couple of weeks back to replace Number 15, Latal's replacement will be 2 to 3 weeks away.

Yes, replacing a player who leaves takes up a slot. The only exemptions are those signed to cover players who have been placed on Injury Reserve. Players on IR must remain on IR for a minimum of 90 days.

That's what I thought as well, and I'm sure I read it in a release that the league made at the start of the season, however, I happen to work with one of the leagues officials, and he states that if a player leaves of their own accord, then the team is free to sign a replacement 🤷

I don’t see how the rule that somebody leaving off their own accord counting as a number is workable. Theoretically speaking, what happens if 15 players leaving off their own accord? We all know that eihl hockey contracts aren’t worth the paper they’re written on

Guessing we'll find out in a couple of weeks. If flyers sign more than one more, we'll know

We still have 1 more signing we can make, Anthony DE Luca just become available, we were going to sign him previously but were warned off, it didn't stop Manchester and look what he did for them.

We all know that eihl hockey contracts aren’t worth the paper they’re written on They already thought of that in the rules: 2.2 Short-Term Replacements, Players Leaving, Players Released, etc: ● Any additional players are a change ●There is no discrepancy for players walking out on teams, replacing short-term injuries, etc. ● In extraordinary circumstances, an appeal may be made to the EIHL Competitions Subcommittee to replace players that have walked out. Link to the documentation is here - Roster Regulations 24-25

However, the official is telling me differently and I'd imagine he's more privvy to info than the rest of us. As I said, we'll know for sure if Flyers sign more than one more import that's not injury relief.
