This is a good move for the player and good that the clubs are linking up and hopefully this is fruitful for the future but this signing won’t solve our depth problems in the foreseeable, if anything it will hinder us for the coming season if he’s playing down south. Still waiting on Brits being signed that can command a regular shift, without them we will find ourselves having the same issues as last season. It would be nice to have the clubs / the coaches intentions in regards to weather they are actively seeking these players. Let’s face it, you’re either in Fife or you’re in Bristol, it’s not like you’ll be making that journey every other day.

Latest from Coolen’s interview if you haven’t listened - External Brit close to signing (Phillips, Myers, Cownie, Duggan?) Had another Brit on the verge of signing but changed mind last minute, Moore i believe. Osterberg signed elsewhere(Belfast). No mention of Lajeunesse which hopefully means theres still hope of that deal happening. Sounds like theres still offers on the table for guys from last year but looking likely it’ll be a near enough new team. Running a spare import forward and defenceman from the start again. Josh Batch

Josh Batch Heard the Brit that changed his mind was O’Conner and it just came down to money. Got more from Dundee

Stewart Gibson posted a summary of Coolens interview that came out in the last day or so. Coolen said he was waiting on confirmation any day now that a Brit that’s new to fife is signing or not.

Heard from a reliable source that Osterberg last season was flyers highest paid player ever and so it was probably never going to be the case he came back.

Sounds like we'll be running two import netminders this season, then.
Thanked Todd in his piece in the article but never mentioned Tom. Could be reading too much into granted TC has only been here for one season but makes me wonder if he's not been asked to return...

Having an import nm opening the gate every night is madness given we don’t have any decent brits. Without brits in the team we need imports on the ice not warming the bench
