Dingle, Owen and Paquet...The rest don't let the door hit your butt on the way out.

Surely Muir, Gunn and Wilson can't be back next year. All three have had next to no ice time all season! Muir gets more ice time than the other two but even he has been surpassed by Wando this season. What on earth has happened with Gunn? He's gone from a solid third line player good for a point every four games or so to being benched for Scoon.

From what I've heard Muir, Gunn and Wilson will all hang them up at the end of the season and who would blame them.

No question: Owen & Dingle.
Possibly: Big Phil, Brooks and maybe Fox. Edit: Moyer also.
All the others can retire/move on to another club.
However, we can all expect fully that Owen wont be back (would you?) so with that in mind, full scale rebuild and only keeping Dingle would be our best hope.

From what I've heard Muir, Gunn and Wilson will all hang them up at the end of the season and who would blame them. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is true. Out of these 3, Jamie is the one I don’t understand how he has lasted this long. year in year out, week in week out, shift in shift out - he just sits on the bench. If we had TOI stats, it would really show, I’d be guessing - but I think it would be a fair assumption to say Wilson's average ice time over a 2 game weekend would be lucky to be over 2 minutes in total. The ice time for Gunny and Tommy this season has me baffled. Tommy played stalwart D for the last few years, and Gunny was doing well on the 3rd. To develop these players then sit them out this season makes no sense. Unless there are unknown factors (injury’s, personal issues) I have to imagine this is a coaching choice. And a poor one at that.

Tommy was odd one out for a long spell and Wando has out performed him this season. When we have been short at the back and he still didnt get a regular shift well only Dutes can explain that.
Gunny - he started the season on the 3 rd line and blew it big time with the off ice issues. That said he more than paid his penance and should have had a regular shift back months ago. That would suggest to me the coach has given up on him and he wont be asked back or will not be coming back through his own choice.
