New website doesn’t seem to have a fixture/result list either haha I questioned that..it does on the tablet PC apparently...once niggles fixed I can see it being a big improvement on that outdated c*** that was there before.

Fife Flyers are a contradiction in terms.
It is claimed they are gate receipt based club, then produce a dire standard and performance on ice that drives people away.
In close season, little, if any information to whet the appetite of fans, then come late July August the signings of the best of what is left gets announced.
This is no way, in my opinion, to get excitement going and get people want to come to FIA
At the start of this season the team looked promising until the coaches systems kicked in, performance dropped. (Recurring feature)
Pasha has our number and doesn't lose too many times to us when we play the same way we have done for years.
The Elite League is the league to be in, but a wee bit more drive, ambition and management is required to be able to compete a little better than we do.
I truly believe the crowd potential is there, but to get them through the door has to be earned.
C'mon lets get professional and make some change before the noise can come back.

Chasing the Puck asked,
Ronnie
Could tam and some of the owners from other nihl teams mot make a new league with say max 5 imports and use brits and young kids coming through.
This league would not happen for various reasons mainly, Lack of money for other clubs Icetime Lack of quality Brits to make it a descent league. Brits that are capable would want too much wages as well, unfortunately money can talk.
Instead of thinking about other leagues Tam should have a clearout and a major change on the admin front, whilst the likes of a the DJ stated that the club is a pretty slick operation at a pre-season volunteers meeting and others back slapping each other in agreement perhaps they should consider why there are around 2000 empty seats mostly EVERY WEEK Match night experience is rubbish. Fan consideration is non exhistant. Interaction with players abysmal. Could go on but like the rest of the contributors on this forum (rapidly diminishing numbers wise due to above observations)i would rather moves were made to benefit the club to realise its true potential.

Some big names coming into the league this week at Cardiff and Manchester ...... no doubt the transfer market is very static where TD is meant to be looking ......full of the proverbial as usual.

Got to agree with a lot of what is said here but sadly that is all it ever is - it is said here.
The Flyers has a brilliant fan base and could be argued to be better than the senior football teams locally. It just needs to get together.
It could be a huge asset to the club. Said before Raith are rumoured to be helped to the tune of £4000 a month by fans. The Pars are run by fans. East Fife's board are fans. Kelty Hearts are another great example of what can be achieved from not very much.
The passion and frustration shown in this forum shows we all know the potential. The counter argument that its Tam's baw and they wont accept help doesn't work for me. Money talks - it always talks.
Please just get together. Pick a date, pick a pub and let's make the difference.

www.eliteprospects.com/player/15439/bobby-chaumontCant be ? Surely not? At the same time, however, this means that the Islanders have an outnumbered import player, as only two players can be used without a German passport. However, as there was an urgent need for action on the EV Lindau Islanders' defensive system due to the thin staffing ceiling, they decided to take this step. "With Ales we win an incredibly experienced defender, who should give us the necessary stability in the defensive and also in the outnumber and undernumber. Unfortunately, we also lose Bobby Chaumont as a result. Bobby has always behaved absolutely athletically and exemplary. Unfortunately, due to the thin personnel situation on the defensive, we had to make this decision," said Sascha Paul, the sporting director.

Chaumont couldn’t hang in the elite league these days, he’s been away too long at a far lower level and not really putting up the points

Sounds about right, doesn’t put up much points, pretty small, typical fife signing

Just an observation... are Flyers the only team not to have a fighting major so far this season?

Belfast just released two imports in Dupuy and Forsberg, would be two ideal signings. Bring in Dupuy and release Just. Bring in Forsberg and chop and change a defenceman each night if Jones is out long term.
