Opening a thread to see what everyone wants to ask. I think the majority of fans have similar questions we all want answered. As pointed out in other threads, my concern will be whether these will be questions that are carefully selected and not really anything gets answered and how honest the Directors are going to be.

Ok, although this rumour is old now, is it true Alex Penman offered cash to the Flyers but the directors declined the offer. And who picks the players for the team, the directors or the head coach.

This just can't be shouting match or having a go at the directors with all negatives getting thrown at them. yes questions need answered but if question is asked about things going wrong they may be need backed up with solutions on how to sort out that problem. like looking at things that Rovers do maybe like, A weekly lottery that runs all year.
A fans trust that could help with payments towards paying for Brits getting better paid than they are now so we don't lose them.
these are just a couple of things I am sure many more ideas will be put in front of them to answer.

1. Are Todd and Jeff given a set budget as per most other teams in the league or are the rumours true each player is negotiated on their own merit by the directors?
2. It has been proven in the past when we had Nickerson that the crowds will come if there’s the odd fight, no one is suggesting signing an out and out goon however having a couple guys willing to step in and protect key players will inevitably lead to the odd fight. Why if we are a gate based club do they not put physical players on the ice to attract crowds? This has been proven so it is not simply a “what if” it’s fact.
3. Whilst the loyalty shown to Todd is admirable, after an abysmal season and never finishing higher than 6th why hasn’t there been a coaching change?
4. Have the club ever planned a link up with an NIHL team where young players can go play, improve and return to the flyers set up when ready?
5. Why do the club reject offers from experienced individuals in their efforts to help the club? People who can improve the social media presence for example, simple things like spelling mistakes and poor grammar are a weekly occurrence and have been for a long time, yet nothing changes. Social media is a free marketing tool that it seems from the outside that the club really don’t care about.

Didn't see this event as a night for asking these kind of questions. Thought it was a chance to meet players and ask them questions? Go down this route and there is a danger it will be pulled.

There are 2 different events, one is the night with the players the other is going to be a q and a fan forum with the owners.

“We are a Local club for local players” This has been given as an ethos this club lives by yet we have seen a real demise in young players getting the chance with the flyers.
1.What is being done to resolve this
2.What role does our director of player development play within the club
3.Why has young local talent been allowed to not play and ultimately leave for other clubs.
4. We have seen a large number of youngsters leave KIHC this season what role do the flyers play with issues such as this.

Now here is a bit of leadership and gutsy too! It could get messy and if it does it's a huge opportunity missed.
There will be 2 groups of questions. The on ice problems and the off ice ones. Both need tackled but the on ice will never be resolved if more money and more local interest isn't gained.
The online presence is woeful and misses so many opportunities to fill the rink, to sell merchandise, to create a buzz and identity. Yet we have, in this forum, folk with track records willing to help for free.
The big question for me is more a plea. Continue this good leadership and open the doors. Recognise the talent and potential, fill the rink and make coming to Kirkcaldy a nightmare for other teams again.
Not just online but create a community team. Folk going out there and getting new fans in and the old fans back. Put an end to banning some of your best fans. Put a bit of responsibility on them to get more drummers, to make more noise and create the same supportive atmosphere the Germans did in the previous pre-season.
If all that is too much - how about just fixing the scoreboard?

1.Ice Hockey is now year round the fans crave news about their team, no interest generated to keep fans engaged, why doesn't the club change this it will only benefit all?
2. Signing news in off season, what is reason for not declaring anything? who green lights issuing signing news? why hold back?
3.The Gauthier signing announcement was a major embarrassment, what is being done to prevent it happening ever again?
4.What is ownership ambitions? bit part making up numbers or thirst for success?
5.It's clear a proper GM passionate about the club and job is needed to promote the club bridge the gap between fans and club, make whole match night experience enjoyable
6.Higher calibre brits like Sam Jones, can fans booster club be created to help finance a more competative team with quality depth?
7.We have had many great players and know what a balanced team should look like yet recruitment some seasons looks like filling a Jersey rather than making the right choice , season two we had a balanced team who scouts for Flyers now? last few years it's been other teams players signed which has had minimal success.
8.Fixtures, Saturday night is Hockey night in Fife, this years fixtures have clearly had a major impact on attendances, we are a gate based club, is this the reason why the team has not been changed? All other Teams in the EIHL have made changes except Fife, if right changes had been made then surely that would have increased attendances? Who represents the Club at Board Meetings? and why are we agreeing to Fixtures that hurt the finacial side of the business, is Fife told thats it take it or leave it?
9. Will poor attendances this season have an impact on available budget for recruitment next season? Season ticket sales will surely suffer if its going to be more of the same, Fans want re-assurances now is not the time for silence if the brand is to continue which we all want.
10.The Conference system clearly worked better for non Arena Teams (the majority)in a 10 Team League set up, is there any news of a 4th Scottish Team joining the League as this cuts the cost, 2 home and 2 away for teams outwith the Conference reducing travel expences by 33%, it cant all be about Belfast , Sheffield and Nottingham.

Q1 When it has been clear for all to see that we were struggling near the bottom of the league why has nothing been done to address this?
Q2 The lack of any homegrown players getting ice time for the team is a big concern for many of the fan base, what is the view of the club on this issue?
Q3 In the modern world a quality presence on social media is a key requirement for any organisation, we have not embraced this very well so far and appear amatuerish at best, this must be improved upon how do you intend to do this?

Does the club have a qualified media manager appointed and if not what's its thoughts on appointing somebody with expertise in this field?
