they were more than accommodating to absolutely wire into Hutchins which shows clearly his face doesnt fit. Its honestly a joke, i had absolutely nothing personal to say about the dj, i dont know him and dont particularly want to know him. How can the match night experience improve if everything has to be positive? Dont get it one bit. Just out of interest what were you going to suggest ? He's not my cup of tea either, he needs to simply inform the arena of the pertinent information relating to the game and the club - that's what I would call announcing, his choice of tunes, well they aint all that bad and you can't please everyone. That's it, drop the "banter", it's not open mic, he is not part of the entertainment, just to facilitate enjoyment of the game with appropriate information. For example he has a direct link with the timekeepers box - just because they put SOGs up on the board doesn't stop him from announcing them - in the case of Saturday past they didn't put on the board at end of 1st, he should be calling them and getting the info - they are after all updating live gamesheets for the EIHL website as the game progresses. Yes everyone uses the EIHL website, flashscores or club twitter accounts but still doesn't stop him announcing scores of games in progress. He is a twitter junky I believe, asking people for suggestions ? Knock yourself out with constructive comments directly to him, if these are being ignored/deleted then take it to the club and advise they have someone on their team who is not customer facing. Agree that the DJ should be more of a match announcer that plays some tunes in between the important things like shots on goal, team line ups, and changes to previously announced scoring. Maybe he should seek out Malcolm Sherris and learn how it should be done.

So who was there and what are your thoughts on the answers given. I feel the host, Ali, sometimes spoke too much and did not give Muir and Wishart space to talk. He answered the whole question on investment in the club, cause he has a company. I feel the directors got away with non answers and turning most things around onto the fans being responsible for everything On the plus side confirmed in EIHL next year. Disappointed nobody asked what about the next 2/5/10 seasons - what are the aspirations but I suppose it is a start. Yes Ali did much more of the talking than I thought he should have. We were there to hear what the Directors had to say. The thing I was waiting to hear Ali talk about was the “ liaison officer “ between the fans and the board, but despite him saying we would get around to that subject on a couple of occasions, the session was wound up 15 minutes early with no liaison info.

To me it came across as, we are a small club that relies on gate income and since you aren’t turning up it’s your fault we have money troubles Disagree - the money has already been spent and based on crowd numbers it appears they will have overspent this season. Surely financial prudence is most important in that situation. Now a key response from Tom on the Fan Funding question I shook my head at - he stated that he didn't want to ask people for more money - there were 400 reasons sitting in front of him as to why he should be "asking" for more money but it beggars belief that they don't appear to have ideas on how to do it. A weekly lottery, the fan fund as mentioned, hospitality opportunities. ....you get nothing for nothing and if people are "asked" the correct way and they can see and share a vision then they will be mostly receptive. It's when they hold a session like last night and no one turns up, that's when you turn out the lights. Would like to know how the Clan OSC or Blaze Booster club do things For example Clan had a 3 in 3 recently and Flyers were third game on the sunday night, which history books will tell you they won The OSC paid for return flights to Belfast If this had been the Flyers it would have been Ferry home and much tiered out squad A small contribution from our masses could provide our Club with that resource, how good would that be if we were in the hunt for something How would this work what would it look like A full time GM could be responsible for this

Trouble is ..who do you think the liaison officer would be, I can guarantee you that he/she would come from the powerful clique of "volunteers" that already hold sway in a lot of decisions in the club..there is no way they will give up any power. The same will go for anyone trying to set up a supporters club, they will find obstacles put in their path at any opportunity regarding access to players for events, travel and tickets for members, discounts ..just about anything that is currently organised by anyone else.

I was a member of the old supporters club when I briefly attended Fife games until 2014/15. It was disbanded due to many of the members questioning where funds were going and standing up to the clique that ran it. Having an accountant as part of the clique certainly didn't make their "books" look even the slightest bit professional. Turning it into a travel club meant not having to have AGMs or answer/show any financial proof. I wish all of you Fife fans well and hope that you get your club treating you with the value that you deserve but doubt it will happen. Keep nagging and something will have to change

As in I've sent the directors a letter with an offer of help, some ideas, and the offer to go down and present them more in depth if they're willing to hear it

Really impressed with the amount of fans willing to step up. Am sure the directors will be overwhelmed as Jack seemed to be genuinely surprised people had been offering at the meeting. Hope your offers are appreciated.

I have sent letters to the Fife Flyers Ltd before and still waiting on a reply. It has to go through the front office..no chance of reaching the owners to be honest.

A wee bit over a week since the meeting. Has there been any outcome?
Not meaning that to be a snide dig if there hasn't, just haven't seen anything.
