I hoped the way it was sold was we'd maybe have 2 or 3 guys like Haddad or Hotham, not out and out enforcers but guys as we seen on Saturday that would play physical and drop them if necessary, we have absolutely nothing apart from Pacquet who if he keeps trying to help out is going to get leathered. Harper would have took him apart on Friday if it wasn't for the refs, and that's our grittiness??

Delahey and Muir are alright but can't hang with any of the serious fighters.

Delahey and Muir are alright but can't hang with any of the serious fighters. Muir was offered by haddad on Saturday, declined big style, could have took the import out the game for 5 minutes but did not fancy the sore face obviously, and who can blame him

Hark at the Caps. Bigos smashed Phillips and big Emmo made sure nobody else wanted to get involved. Next game Flemington takes his turn to step up. That's team toughness.

That's stupidity more like they went to far and will end up with 3 game bans, excessive force etc. you continue to punch a player when they are down on the ice DOPS will not look favourably on this type of play

Not tough? This is a guy who held his own with Fitzgerald last season.
The point is that there is at least three players on that team who will go with just about anyone.
And I'd take any one of them in our side at the moment rather than watch Rioux and Paquet get pummeled.

Nice article from Jono Bullard of TCW fame about Cam Janssen and his performance/impact on the panthers team so far. thecatswhiskersonline.co.uk/blog/so-far-so-very-good/Think it covers the difference of having a proper enforcer very well never mind any effect it has on fans etc.

I hope Flyers are trying to recruit either Steve MacIntyre or Yablonski already for next season ;-)

I hope Flyers are trying to recruit either Steve MacIntyre or Yablonski already for next season ;-) Here we are in October and already we are talking about what we can change for next season! It's early enough to make changes this season and turn things to our advantage. But there has to be a will for that to happen at the top of the club and that just aint gonna happen.
