Thanks zamboni. Their "social media manager" should really be cross posting across all media platforms, or even a send to all email to the list of ticket holders. I don't use twitter, tbh barely use Facebook these days cause its just roaster central. But would at the least have expected a "this is still going ahead". Given the rest of the league are looking on with interest, I'd have thought they'd have been shouting about it anywhere they could?
Seperate note never been to the bay hotel... Assuming there's plenty of disabled parking and a lift to upstairs?

Aye I got the reminder emails, was more of a confirmation today it was going ahead with the adverse weather and driving conditions. Sure I'm not the only person who'll have wondered.
Youngman I thought the same, missing a trick if it's not streamed given the interest in it and the limited tickets. Be fairer to those who can't attend in person but wanted to be a part of it

Assuming there's plenty of disabled parking and a lift to upstairs? There is a lift to the first floor where the event is being held and disabled parking outside the main entrance. As I have previously said, this should have been publicised on ALL media platforms, not just Ali’s Twitter page. Was it only his Twitter followers that were being targeted to attend. Likewise the method of sending the questions to be sent in advance of the evening seems to have been kept deliberately low profile. I only found out how by hunting. If again all media platforms had been used then maybe more folk that are unable to attend might have been able to get involved.

And aye my thoughts exactly, just another example of what everyone has been saying about their online presence

Could there be a live streaming of tonights event? Periscope even? FFP are doing live reporting, according to Matt Elder from the FFP on twitter.

Reading the FFP updates it just sounds like they are giving the usual generic answers that most could have guessed at before the night started. Hope I'm picking it up wrong but not seeing any reason to expect changes in way club is run.
Sounds like it's still Tam's baw!

Tbf does sound like they are open to offers of help. Will be drafting a letter to them this week with some ideas and the offer to help however I can. If they're open to hearing it, I'm more than happy to work on formulating the ideas and present them in a more in depth way. They said they've not personally been aware of the offers of help in the past. No one could answer who the offers were made to and who said no, so does make you wonder if messages via social media haven't been passed on

Ideas raised but most thrown back to room saying if anyone out there wants to do it then we'll be delighted- clearly a lack of someone to organize the tactical issues or not empowered by ma baw Tam and Jack - basic stuff that the likes of Rovers and East Fife can do but it all seen like a surprise to them. Nothing significant will change - they shut down too many questions and didn't offer any new ideas themselves. Underwhelming but not surprising unfortunately.
